Ch21"Love Me Again"

Audie's Perspective.....

It's been months since I've last talk to Diana, long an hard ones too. Being back home is just not the same without her, I want her to welcome me with open arms. Tell me how much she missed me, kiss me, even tell me how much she can't wait to start a life with me.

But I was wrong..... All these years the love I had for her still the same, an hers changing every day I wasn't there.

"Audie?"

I broke out of my thoughts and looked up at Richard, he invited me to go hang out, make up for the time I missed with him as kids.

"Yeah, sorry man. I've been really stress lately" I said.

"It's about Diana isn't it?"

"Yes.....I lost her for good Richard" I said. Richard signed and took another gulp of his drink.

"Diana is still yours man" He said.

"How, she's with that Elvis guy" I replied with disgust.

Richard raised his hand and asked for the check.

"You know what?" He said. I looked at him. "We're going to go see Diana, my friend works for Elvis and can get us in the gate. Well see Diana and watch she'll be happy to see you" He planned.

Signing I just nodded and got up.

"You better be right, cause I ain't goin to jail on a count of you" I said.

He laughed and walked out to his car, I followed him.

"Just act normal" Richard said. Looking at him with a stare and he gulped.

"I was saying that to myself" He laughed a little and knocked on the door. We heard a female voice, but it wasn't Diana's.

Seconds later the large doors opened and revealed a house maid. She was kinda short, and old, but like mid 30s.

"Hello there ma'am, we'd like to talk to Diana Winters, she stays here with Mr.presley" Richard said, she looked at us for a while and yelled out Elvis's name.
Soon enough Elvis came walking down the stairs, he was wearing a all black suit, his hair nicely comb...his eyes were puffy and red.

"Can I help you fellas?" He said.

"Where's Diana?" I said well more like yelled. He looked at me and clenched his jaw.

"I broke up with her, I sent her back home" He said.

Broke up....broke up....ha Diana's all mine now?, a smile mades it way to my face and I looked at him. "That's all I need to know, thank you, let's go" I said to Richard grabbing his jacket. He looked confused but followed me, I can't believe there not together. And better yet he broke up with her...i should set a bomb in his house and Blow'em up, but then I'd go to jail and Diana won't have anyone.

Getting in the car, I took a deep breath.

"Let's get back to Diana, she needs me" I said. He nodded and stepped on the gas and back to Nashville we go.

We arrived at Diana's house, there house lights were on. That means there still up, maybe her parents.

"I gotta get going man, I'll see you tomorrow at school yeah?" Richard said. I nodded and smiled. "See ya, Richard, thanks again" I said, he nodded and drove off. Walking to up to the door I signed softly, hopefully she'll want to see me. Like I've been wanting to see her.

Knocking on the door, I waited as I heard voices whispering. The door opened and revealed Diana mother, Mrs.Winters.

"Oh thank god. I thought you were that devil Elvis" she said in disgust. "No ma'am it's me...I came by to see Diana. Is she home?" I asked. Mrs.winters nodded and opened the door so I can step inside, it was warm and cozy, unlike the home I come from. Smiling I greeted Mr.Winter.

"Sir" I said, he smiled and nodded. "Hello there Audie, are you staying for dinner?" He asked. I nodded. "Yes sir, but only if Diana wants me too, I don't want to upset her" I said. He only nodded. "I'm sure she will, I'm very disappointed in that Presley kid. He hurt my daughter and I don't like that, if I ever get my hands on him again. I'll kill him. I don't care how famous he is, lord forbid me I will" he threaten.

I didn't blame him, why would elvis hurt Diana if he claimed he loves her. He's such a prick, thinking that he can just get in any girl heart. Well not my lovely Diana, I won't let her get hurt again.

"You can go up to her room dear, she's locked herself in there for hours now. See if you could get in" Mrs.winters said with a frown. I nodded and walked upstairs to her room, I haven't been in this house for agars now, it still looks the same, I've been up here many times to have okay dates with Diana when we were kids. I enjoyed everyone of them, but she isn't a little girl anymore...and I'm not a little boy anymore.

I got to her room and as I got closer I hear sniffling and soft sobs. I felt my heart break at hearing her cries, slowly knocking on the door. I hear the bed shift.

"W-who is it....I said...I wasn't ready to talk, go away" she said between sobs. Gulping I licked my lips.

"D-diana it's me..Audie. I came by to see how you were doing" I said softly. It was silent for a while, then the door opened and suddenly I felt arms wrap around my neck as diana hugged me tightly, I wrapped my arms around her tightly and let her cry in my shirt. "Shhh it's okay, I'm here now. I'm so sorry about what happened, you didn't deserve that." I whispered to her. She cried harder.

Picking her up in my arms as she wrapped her legs around my waist, I walked inside her room and closed the door with my foot behind me. Then I sat on the bed with her in my lap.

"Why me Audie?!, I thought he loved me, I gave myself to him...I let him in and he just threw me away like...like I was trash" she sniffles as she looked at me. I stared at her, I couldn't answer that question. Honestly I don't know the answer, no matter how much I hate elvis I couldn't talk bad about him to her, even if I wanted her to hate him like I do.

All I can do is be her friend again, start all over again. Be here for her, but I'll always love her more then a friend.

"I don't know diana, but all I know is I'm here for you" I said to her, she stared at me for a moment and smiled then, she leaned up towards my face. I slightly opened my mouth, and then she kissed me softly on my lips. I've waited for this moment since we were kids, I kissed her back gently and creased her tear stained cheek.

She slowly pulled away and looked down, gulping she whispered. "I'm glad your back, I missed you" I smiled softly and held her closer.

"Me too..."

Me too.

Hey guys sorry it took so long to upload another chapter, I've been busy with online school. I'm going to finish this book before summer, so don't worry.
