"why dont you ever believe me!?" you yell at jack as he walks away from you. you and jack were currently outside in a park.
"how can i? i saw you flirting with him!" he yells while turning around to you face you again.
you laugh, "youre kidding jack, right? hes been my best friend since 3rd grade! besides, i see you flirting with fans all the time, and you dont see me getting mad everytime! he starts to clench his fists to let out his anger and slowly starts bringing them up. your eyes go wide and you cover your face, just incase he was about to do what you think he is. his face turns into a confused state and as soon as he realizes what you were thinking, his eyes narrow down at you.
"y/n, i wasnt going to-"
before he can finish, you walk away, a little embarressed, to a swingset while rubbing your arm, trying to make some friction. it was getting chilly and you didnt bring anything to make you warm. with your head down low, you realize that jacks feet is getting closer to you. he sits on the swing next to you, and wraps his tie dye hoodie around you.
"y/n." he says softly.
you turn around slowly and look at him through your sad and scared eyes.
"i know i got jealous and i know that wasnt the best way to handle it, but i cant and i wont let another guy steal you from me," he continues in his soft voice.
you lift your head. "i thought you were going to hurt me," you say through tear filled eyes. you lean forward and rest your head on his chest, while he wraps his arms around you.
"y/n, id never hurt you. i love you more than you can imagine. dont ever think id ever hurt you." he says continuing in his soft tone. you look up at him and softly kiss his cheek.
"i love you too jack. and its going to take a lot more than a fight to get rid of me," you say with a small smile.

he laughs softly and gives you a peck on the lips before saying, "i dont want you gone, anyways."
