The last Pillow

Yoongi's POV

I woke up the next morning, unsure of what to do.

I went downstairs and took out the leftovers from last night and ate it.

I then took a shower, jotted some lyrics down then I texted Rosè.

I texted Rosè to meet me where we first met and then I got the keys and drove to the place where we first met.

The mattress store.

Long time no see friend.

I went in and went straight to the mattress and laid down on one waiting for Rosè.

Rosè's POV

I woke up regretting what I said to Suga yesterday, was I too harsh?

I went to the kitchen and got some breakfast and then took a shower.

As I was curling my hair I grab my phone and read Suga's text to meet him where we first met.

After I was done getting ready I grabbed the keys and went to the mattress store.

As I got out of the car I looked around to find Suga's car, found it.

I then walk inside and go straight for the mattresses.

I see a familiar person on one of the mattresses and walk over to them.

I take a breath and said "Hey! Is that mattress soft?

His eyes fluttered opened and smiled, he sat up and patted the seat next to him.

I sat down next to him and said "I choose myself"

"Pardon?" He questioned

"I choose to not try for something with you. I decided to not try anything with anyone for a while. I am choosing to work on myself. I'm not ready for a relationship. I still have a lot of work to do to love myself before I can even consider loving someone else. I felt so overwhelmed during it all. It was like everything we did, everyone knew about it. It was no longer our business, it was everyone's. I wanted to at least experience with you a bit before everyone got involved. I wanted to have somewhat of a simple nonpublic relationship. At least until you and I were steady enough. I thought long and hard about this. I don't believe in right person, wrong time. However, I would not be apposed to the idea of possibly being with you in the future. So the idea of never say never... it exists in this situation. I do like you, don't get me wrong. I just can't do a relationship right now. I hope you understand."

"Well then.... I think you chose the right choice and now that I think about we were going a bit to fast." He said while looking at the ground.

"Thank you for understanding and thank you for a new friendship."

This was never supposed to be a love story, it's a story about a girl who meets a guy at the mattress store. Sure they try to date, but in the end it wasn't for them. In the end it was the mattress that brought them together, our story is the mattress store.

I didn't know what to do for the ending, but hey it's a pretty good ending if I do say for myself! I recently just went through some things so I kind of incorporated them into my book so that I could let my feeling out.... Anyways I hope you liked this story and that you like and share it! Thank you for reading my book that took me over two years to write, but in the end it's a good thing that I finally finished it because I lost my inspiration to write this book halfway through it. This was the second book I've ever wrote on Wattpad, (the first was a Shawn Mendes fanfic and it was super cringe worthy and has been deleted 😂)Thank you for reading this book, what did I ever do to deserve you guys? 🥺 I purple you all 💜💜💜
