𝐀 𝐃𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐞

(𝐄𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐞 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐤)

Derry was never a safe place for (y/n). For her, theres always something off. Today is a Monday, the last bell off the day will ring in about ten minutes and is stuck in her Advanced English class.Infront of her was Eddie Kaspbrak or whom she calls "inhaler kid".Eddie's a year younger than everyone in the class since he's a freshman and everyones a sophomore. Based on (y/n)'s observations, Eddie is either shy or short tempered- but most of the time shy. When he's in Advanced English he's always quiet but always have the good and better grades than everyone else ( except for (y/n) of course ) and then she sees him in lunch with his friends or the so-called "Losers" making fun of each other until they actually offened oneanother and it gets chaotic. Eddie gets chaotic.

(y/n) tilts her head to her right so she can look outside the window, it was a sunny day and was actually one of the hottest day since last Friday. She was sweating like crazy and all she wants to do is go home and take a long cold shower. She snaps her thoughts out as soon as she saw someone ran so fast outside the window, she was so shocked it actually scared her and made her heart beat fast, she wasn't even sure it that was real. She looks outside once again and as soon as she saw a familiar red balloon just floating there her heart sank and she suddenly felt herself became small and vulnerable. It wasn't moving it was just there. Floating.

Then it suddenly popped loud and she jumped up her seat, sweating, heart racing so fast  and a little bit shaking. She couldn't hear because of the loud pop but her ears weren't hurting. Her eye still stayed where the balloon had popped and suddenly she sees what she's been avoiding for the past few days. The clown. The clown. The fucking clown.

He was laughing and pointing his fingers at her as if what had just happen was so fucking funny. Then he suddenly stopped laughing and looked at her. His saliva was dripping from his mouth and he was muttering her name. He was so far away so how come she can hear him?

"Miss (y/l/n)! for the last time sit down! you're disturbing the whole class!" Miss Sanders yells finally getting (y/n)'s attention. She quickly looks away and looked at everyone in the class, all of them looking at her with judgemental looks. God, she hates Derry. She finally looks infront of her and there was Eddie giving her a scared and worried expression. He quickly looks away from her and grabbed his inhaler. "I'm sorry." (y/n) mutters before taking her seat

"fucking weirdo." A guy behind her mutters before chuckling with his friends. (y/n) rolls her eyes before turning around and flipping them off. She then looks back infront of her, eyes focusing on Eddies back, worried if she looks elsewhere the clown might appear again. (y/n) feels like Eddie knows something about what just happened. Maybe he also saw the clown? or maybe he just thinks she's crazy like everyone else in this fucking class. The bell finally rang and everyone got up so quickly to leave the room, especially (y/n). She cant wait to go home and take a shower, read a book and drink her daily dose of coffee. The bell ring and everyone stood up to pack their things and leave. Everyone already left except for (y/n) and Eddie and Miss Sanders. Eddie was taking too long because he has to take his pills. (y/n) still couldn't get the fucking clown out of her head.

"Miss (y/l/n), you've been a little bit off this week, it's affecting your studies. You used to be so good in school and now it feels like you don't do your best." Miss Sanders says walking towards her with a frown. (y/n) sighs as she grabs her books from the table then then shoving it inside
