By the time you kids read this, I'll be at least 50. You see, I'm writing this for you now, at age 33, because I don't want to forget these things. Its filled with all the adventures of my youth. And I did some pretty crazy things at 26. I know what you're thinking. How could, I, your paranoid boring father, have done crazy things? Well let's just say, I had some really stupid friends.
Call me a dork, but I took pictures of all the greatest moments I've had experienced with my friends. All those pictures are here, in this very journal. I did it for you, and myself. Of course, you're wondering how I knew I was going to have kids. I didn't. I actually thought I would never find someone. You know that old camera that I keep in my room? It's older than both of you. And it's been through a lot. And when I say a lot, I mean a lot. You'll see what I mean. But that camera made me hold on to the hope that I would one day be a father. Because no matter how sad I felt about being alone, I still took pictures. I was hoping that one day I'd have some kids to share my pictures with. And I do.
Hang in there kids, this is one hell of a story.
