Chapter two

    I wake up in this weird room instantly I regret opening them confirming it wasn't a nightmare. I think it's Percy that sits next to me looking worried. "Percy is that you?" I ask with a weak voice. He turns to me and says "Pepper, oh my gosh I never thought I'd see you again. What are you doing here?" "This dude named Grover said to follow him if I wanted to live. Where is he any ways? I'd like to have a word with him about sniffing people......" my voice trailed off as I saw that guy Grover who had........ GOAT LEGS AND HORNS!!!!!! I scrambled in the bed I was in and asked Percy where I was. "Camp Half-Blood. It's a place for people like us." "What do you mean people like us? I always knew I was weird but am I this weird that I have to go somewhere?" "No that's not what I mean. You see Pepper, I mean kids who have a Greek god or goddess as one of the parents and the other is a mortal." I let it take time to sink it in. No. Just no. I must be dreaming. It's impossible. "Percy I think I'm dreaming. This can't be real." "Well it is. For now you can stay at the Hermes cabin while you wait to be claimed." "Claimed? Claimed by who?" "Your godly parent." I get up and say "Well I'll just go there now because I don't own anything. And hey what happened to that monster that was trying to eat me?" "Oh we sent her to Tartarus. Do you know that is?" "Yeah I know all about what you're talking about because Mrs. Prinkle the monster always taught me about Greek mythology. Well I guess it's not mythology any more." I started to walk over to Hermes cabin when I heard Percy call out "Hey Pepper someone is here to see you and me. Come on!" I ran down with him and as I was running something caught my leg. I looked around and saw I got my foot stuck in a bush of thorns. "Percy! My foot is stuck!" I looked up there and saw Mrs. Jackson, Percy's mom, Percy heard me and so did Mrs. Jackson. Percy ran over and helped me get it unstuck. The pulling and yanking was so much force that it made me land in the water by the entrance. When my foot came out it was bleeding like crazy and scratched up pretty bad but I screamed as I fell into the water and everyone came running over and just stared. My foot was fine now weird. But I looked up at my head and saw a glowing trident. Weird. Mrs. Jackson looked like she wanted to cry and Percy looked like he wanted to hug me, weird again, while everyone just stared. Than a horse man dude came up and forced smiled and said, "Looks like we have a new addition to cabin 3. Pepper, your father is Poseidon."
