Alice POV
As Kat and I exit the food store, my phone begins ringing. Quickly placing the baDgs of shopping into the boot, I pull my phone out of my pocket. The caller ID says Cole Jones, making my heart race slightly before I press the answer button.
''Hey.''
''Hello, Alice. Are you still available to meet today?'' His voice sends butterflies to my stomach. 'Why does his voice effect me so much?'
"Hey, yeah I am still available. What time do you want to meet again?"
"How does twelve o'clock sound as I finished what I needed to ?"
"Yeah, that sounds good to me. I will see you then."
''Bye.'' Looking up from my phone, I see Kat standing next to the passenger door that is already open, grinning widely at me like the Cheshire cat from Alice and Wonderland.
Parking up outside the house, we climb out and begin grabbing all the shopping bags. Once inside we head over towards the kitchen and begin putting it all away. As we put it away we sing along to the music that plays onto the radio.
Just as we finish putting away the shopping the doorbell echoes throughout the house. Looking up towards the clock realising it is 11:55.
''Are we expecting anyone?'' Kat asks, with a puzzled look.
"Yes, I am. Cole is picking me up.'' I shout as I make my way over to the door.
"Oooo, lover boys here" She sings back, making my face turn bright red.
Taking a sweet from the jar in the hallway, I pop it into my mouth. She begins wolf whistling making me laugh at her as I open the door revealing Cole. I stop laughing instantly as I look at him making the sweet go to the back of my throat causing me to choke.
He is wearing black skinny jeans with a white t-shirt and leather jacket. His hair is styled to the side messily as if he has run his hands through it multiple times. He smirks at me as my coughing stops.
"Hey, I just need to grab my laptop and that come inside for a moment." I move aside and close the door behind him. He then follows me as I head back into the kitchen. Kat smirks at me before excusing herself from the room. I pull my tongue out at her quickly, whilst Cole looks between us. I smile at him quickly before heading towards my room.
As I push my open door, I take in a deep breath to calm down my anxiety before grabbing my laptop off the desk and put it inside my bag along with my phone and purse. I walk back into the kitchen and Cole looks up as he hears my boots click against the floor.
"Ready?" I nod and we walk outside to his car. I stand in amazement as I look at his matte black Audi R8.
"Oh my god." Cole stops walking and looks over at me with a smile.
"You like it?" I just nod so that I don't squeal at my dream car and continue walking towards the beauty. Cole opens the passenger door before heading to his side and getting in.
The drive is silent except for the radio playing in the car as we drive to the destination. Cole then pulls into a quiet car park and turns off the engine. I look around the area and notice a small cafe with outside seats looking out to the seafront. The building is painted in light blue and yellow stripes that match the wooden furniture. Climbing out of the car, the smell of the sea and sand fill my nose and the sound of the waves crashing against the sand fills my ears.
We then begin to walk down to the cafe side by side. As we enter the building a bell chimes above us notifying the waitresses and customers of our arrival. We head over to a corner booth in the quieter area of the cafe. I pull out my laptop and wait for it to load as the waitress comes over. We order our drinks and some food before the waitress leaves again, but not before giving Cole a sultry look and pushing her boobs slightly together as she takes our menus.
