Tim Wilde, a gray anthro raccoon, and his wife Riley Brooks-Wilde, an anthro red fox, were sitting on their couch watching movies and cuddling under their blanket. Riley looked out the window over looking Lake Michigan and said "You know it would be nice for us to extend the deck a little bit and build a glass room with a hot tub and TV out there."
Tim kissed the top of Riley's head and said "Oh good idea." as he leaned forward to grab his tablet off their coffee table. As he sat back his cell phone rang Tim reached over to the end table on his side of the couch and answered his cell phone "Hello?"
He heard his step mom, Kendra's, voice say "Hey I know you and Riley are enjoying your weekend but Sandy is requesting you meet at Holland Hospital."
"Any particular reason?" Tim asked as he pushed the blanket away
"Yes but she is not willing to tell me at the moment." Kendra responded.
"I guess Riley and I will take the trucks and meet them there and figure out their issue." Tim said as he stood up.
"Okay if it's an issue she most likely won't want Matt to be notified. Talk to you soon." Kendra said as she hung up the phone.
Riley looked at Tim and asked "What's going on?"
"Sounds like Sandy needs help at the hospital. I am not sure what the issue is but I do know she is on duty so just to be safe we should take the trucks to be on the safe side." Tim said grabbing the keys to his truck off the kitchen counter. Riley ran after Tim grabbing her keys on her way out the door. Tim looked at Riley as she got into her truck and said "Just go I will catch up. I need to grab my radio out of the car really quick."
A few minutes later Tim pulled into the hospital's parking lot. As soon as he was in the parking lot he called Sandy. As soon as she answered he asked "Where are you at?"
"The ambulance bay. We were just finishing up a call and the ambulance was stolen." Sandy replied as she hung up. Tim then pulled his truck around to the ambulance bay. As soon as he pulled around to the ambulance bay he saw Sandy and her partner/boyfriend Chris Cooper, who was an anthro blue merel Australian Shepard, administering first aid to their two partners Kara Omoto, an anthro lynx, and Rick Booth, a red merel Australian Shepard, who were sitting on the curb.
As soon as Tim got parked he ran over to Sandy, Chris, Kara, and Rick. "So what happened?" Tim asked
"The ambulance was stolen and none of us got a look at the suspects." Sandy replied.
"Okay I am going to call this in. Don't worry I will make sure Matt can't intercept the message then Riley and I will review the cameras and take you four back to the fire station." Tim said as he ran back to his truck. He put on his helmet and said "Hey Phoenix I need you to block Matt Wilde and Katrina Weeks from this radio call."
"They are now out of this radio call. Should I allow or deny the humans from this call too?" Phoenix asked appearing on Tim's HUD
"Allow them to hear it." Tim said before starting the radio transmission. "Attention all officers there is a stolen HFD 349 ambulance. I will update you when I start getting location updates on the location of the ambulance." Tim then turned his radio off and said "Hey Phoenix can you patch into the hospital's servers I need to review what happened in the ambulance bay." He returned to Sandy, Chris, Rick, and Kara his HUD started to show the ambulance's GPS location as well as the ambulance bay events. He watched the camera as two female humans walked up behind both Kara and Rick hitting them hard enough in the back of the head and take the keys from Rick and take off with the ambulance. "Hey phoenix keep Matt and Katrina out of this conversation." Tim said turning his radio back on
" Attention everyone the ambulance's current location is currently at River Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard." Tim said
"This is Sapphire, my sister Ruby and I are headed west on Lakewood and see the ambulance." replied a female voice
A separate female voice said "This is Rachael my partner Jasmine and I are also near by but we do not see the ambulance yet We are at Beech street and Lakewood getting ready to turn west on Lakewood."
"Riley and I are driving separately in our civilian pick-up trucks but are taking Sandy, Kara, Rick, and Chris back to their fire station. If you two can lead the ambulance there we should be able to block them in." Tim said as he opened his front passenger door for Sandy and rear driver side passenger door for Chris just as Riley pulled up.
Riley walked over to Tim and said "Sorry I needed fuel."
"Not a problem Rachael and Sapphire are going to try to lead the ambulance to the fire station.
"Oh that should work use their trucks and our vehicles to block the ambulance in." Riley replied as she turned around to walk back into her truck.
"Hey keep an eye on those two they were hit hard on the back of the head." Tim said as he watched Riley get into her truck.
They drove following each other for a few minutes before they pulled into the fire station. Tim quickly got out and ran into the office. He found the fire chief who was a human male named Blaze Fischer and said "Hey the ambulance was stolen while being guarded. I have a couple of cops trying to lead it here. Are you able to help us block it in?" Tim asked
"Sure we'll use the pumper, ladder, and snorkel trucks." Blaze replied.
"Here's a good plan. You go take those three trucks around the block like your being called. When and if we manage to get the ambulance into the parking lot you pull the tree truck up close to each other close enough to block in the ambulance.
"Oh I like that idea." Blaze said as he got onto the stations PA and relayed the message and plan.
As soon as Tim went out side to keep an eye open for the ambulance he saw the front of the pumper truck with it's lights emergency lights flashing just south of the fire station. Oh I think this plan is going to work. Tim thought to himself as he turned his head and saw the ambulance coming southbound towards them.
Tim then backed off while Riley who was on the other side of the road watching as well. They kept watching as the ambulance was successfully forced into the parking lot. As soon as Blaze saw that he started moving the pumper.
Tim immediately pulled out his pistol and started yelling "Stop the ambulance and show me your hands!" The driver immediately surrendered. Tim then opened the door and yanked the driver out and laid her on the ground. Ruby ran over and said I got this one from here. Sapphire yanked the passenger out of the ambulance and arrested her.
Blaze, Tim, Riley, Rachael, Sapphire, another human female named Chelsea and an anthro red fox named Luna grouped up and congratulated each other on a successful capture.
