#13 Skating rink

Maddie's pov.
I woke up and an immediate thought came to my mind.I hate Mondays,but today I get to see Miranda go in look for her books.

My phone buzzed.I grabbed my phone from the bed side table

'Today we have minimum day,and were going to the skating rink.Want to go?Nat said yes and I have no idea what Jess' phone # is.Can you ask her?'Kat texted.

'Who are you going with?'I texted back.

'Jazmin,Adriana,Claire,Ella,Maya, Luke,James,Adrian,Damien,Anthony,
Max,and Austin.'She texted back.My heart skipped a beat when I read James name.

'Yea.I will go.And I will ask Jess.'I texted and changed into white TOMS, mint green jeans,a mint green tank top, a loose white T-shirt that had,in mint green bold writing,'Free Hugs',oh I almost forgot a mint green bow.I put on a white jacket and walked into the hall.

"Do you want to go to the skating rink after school?"I asked Jess.She nodded.

(At school)
We came early just to see Miranda's expression.I handed my phone to Jazmin and told her to record it.

Miranda got here.She opened her locker and her eyes widened.She glared at me.

"Where are my books!???!"She screeched.

"Huh?"I asked with a confused face.

"Don't act all innocent I know you took them."By now everyone was staring.

She just rolled her eyes and stormed off.
(At lunch)
Miranda has only found 4 books.She only needs 5.Right now she finally found the book I hid.And she's screaming at Josh.

I walked to the lunch time.I got a green apple,green Jell-O,green grapes,kiwi's, and vanilla cupcake with green frosting.

I walked to the table next to the floor to ceiling window,we always sit there because it's the biggest table.I noticed that 7 boys,including James, where siting there.One was in my spot.

"Your in my spot."I told the boy that was in my spot.

"I told you she would notice."Nat said. The boy sighed and moved.

"I'm Max."A boy with red hair and green eyes said.He looked a lot like- "I'm Ella's brother."He finished.I knew it.

"I'm Austin."The boy that was sitting in my spot said.

"I'm Anthony."Another said.

"Luke."

"Adrian.Adriana's twin."

"Damien."

"Jessica.You can call me Jessie,but I'm known as Jess."Jess smiled.

"I'm Nat.I'm not telling you my name." Nat smirked.

"I'm Maddison,aka Maddie."I told them.

"Why do you have so little food?"Jess asked.

"Not hungry."I shrugged.

"Weird.So who knows how to skate?" Nat asked.

(At the skating rink.)
"What kind of skates?"The girl asked.

"Blaze'."(I don't know if I spelled that right.)I told her.She handed me the skates(I'm going to call them skates.) and I went to put the on.

We glided to the rink door.We skated to middle and started going around.

"Wow.You three are great."James complimented Jess,Nat and I.

"Selfie."I said and took out my phone.I snapped a few pictures and posted one on Instagram with the comment 'Having so much fun at the skating rink with @Katlyn_is_me, @Natalie_1_malik,@Jessica_Styles, @C_L_A_I_R_E,@ElLa11, @Jack_Jazmin,@Adriana_Adrian, @MayMaya,@Adrian_Adriana, @Texas_Austin,@Max_ine, @Lukie_pookie,@Anthony1470, @3Damian3,and @Ja_me_s1'I also tagged them.

What the most common theme we talked about was Miranda's expression when she got to her locker.

Then 'All About That Bass' stated to play.We rode around while dancing and singing to the song.If you were roller skating at the same time as us, you would probably think we are crazy.
