ARGH! What is that? IT'S DRIVING ME CRAZY!

From a bird's-eye persective, I see Applejack's head jerking, accompanied by the constant clicking.

I've noticed that Applejack isn't... right, all the time. It's like she's part machine or something, the way she acts. I'll shrug it off, but...

I don't know why, but I start humming a song that I found on YouTube a while back called, 'Rainbow Factory'. Soon I'm muttering the words to it. Rainbow Dash, who is flying a few feet ahead of me, looks back slightly. Her rose eyes have a surprised look, but she shakes her head and looks forward again. I decide it's better that I pretend I didn't notice.

"Alright, we're here." Twilight announces. "Um, you might wanna... step back. Fluttershy is easily frightened." We all obey her and take a few steps back. Well, except for me. I land a few feet back from the others, then stand beside Lauryn.

"Is she crying?" She whispers to me. I listen closely and notice that there is a soft crying coming from Fluttershy's home.

"Sounds like it."

When Twilight knocks on the door, the crying is replaced by a sorrowful, "You came for me!" The odd thing is that it sounds like wind rushing, and the voice echoing itself.

"Fluttershy!" Twilight shouts, making the sad aura of the home disappear; instead there's a brighter, cheerier vibe to it.

The door opens slowly, and a yellow pegasus reveals herself. She shows no sign of crying or distress in anyway. This is beginning to get creepy.

"Hello Twilight!" She says happily, but quietly at the same time. She looks over and notices us. "Are those the newcomers?" Twilight nods in response.

"Well, since y'all are here now, ya may as well introduce yerselves." Applejack says, stepping in front of us, along with Twilight and Fluttershy. "Rarity will just have to wait, since she's got all those orders to finish."

We all look to one another, wishing someone else would go first. Eventually, Qber sighs and steps forward.

"I'm GameQber, but you can just call me Qber." He says, keeping his head down slightly. Everybody keeps introducing themselves, until we get to Lauryn. She freezes up, not speaking. Suddenly, she flies off to who knows where.

Rainbow Dash starts to take off after Lauryn, but I stop her.

"I'll get her." I say. Dash takes a step back, allowing me to take off.

I'm more unsteady than I was earlier, maybe because of the worry that I have. I'm still not sure what possessed me to do that dive earlier.

Soon I find her in a secluded clearing. I land next to her quietly.

"Lauryn? What's wrong?" I ask awkwardly. I've never been good at comforting people.

"They... they're not right, not right in the heads. There's something up and I don't like it. I don't trust them." She says, anger filling her voice. "And you shouldn't either."

"I noticed something weird," I say, ignoring her last comment for now. "Applejack always seems to be... um... malfunctioning," I can't think of the right word. "Rainbow Dash seemed to recognize the song I was humming, and Fluttershy... that's obvious." I look her straight in the eyes now. "I don't trust them."

She smirks a little, then says, "Thanks." She begins to walk off, taking flight after a few feet. I follow closely behind her.

When we arrive back I can see Lauryn with an angry look in her eyes. "I'm Lauryn." She says simply, then turning sharply and sauntering to a place beside Skillets.

When I looked back, I could've sworn I saw Rarity's eyes turn black and glowing white for a split second.

They're crazy.
