The sound of splashing followed by footsteps echoed throughout the near empty streets but the only sound I could hear was that of my own breath. I have no idea how long it's been since I started running but I was certainly getting tired. Up ahead I saw a bus stop, I guess I could rest there for awhile until I can find someplace better. It was then that an Android and what appeared to be a little girl walked off the bus and asked me if I knew any place to stay for the night. Despite my current situation I decided to look around and spotted a building that seemed to be abandoned,
"Hey there's a place over there, should be good for you guys for a night or two."
"Thank you." Replied the android as they headed off to the building. I however stayed at the bus shelter until morning. 'When was this rain going to end?' I thought to myself. This was definitely going to be a long night.
