Stopping the car few lanes away from tiwari killa, shravan turn toward sumo who was in a deep, sound sleep . He removed her seatbelt, softly pulled her toward himself and gave her cheek a gentle caress.
"Sumo, wake up sweetie"
She open her eyes and hissed in pain.
"Kya hua?"
"Headache aur haath bhi dukh rha hai"
"Itna royi ho aur injury bhi hai haath mein dard toh hoga hi na. Kitni jor se maara hai sumo...haalat dekho apni fist ki. Listen here,the first thing you will do after going home is to have a painkiller . Got that??"
HOME.......
"Hmmmm" saying so she looked at her hand lost in some thoughts.
"Kya soch rhi ho????"
"darr lg rha hai shravan.pta nhi kya hoga aaj. agar nanu ya uncle nhi maane toh?????? Agar kuch ulta seedha ho gya toh????"
He cupped her cheek and made her look up at him.
"Sumo itna negative kyun soch rhi hai.....aisa kuch nhi hone wala theek hai"
Tears welled up in her eyes after all her fear was not baseless.
"Negative nhi hu shravan but aaj tkk Sab khoya hi hai Meine . ab toh drr lagta hai agar kuch acha hone lagta hai toh as my happiness doesn't last for long."
"Aisa nhi hai sumooo"
"Aisa hi hai shravan. Bahut mushkil se khud ko rokk ke rkha tha shravan but inn kuch ghanto mein jo hua.. yeh jo khubsurat pal jiye hai na meine, ab Tumhe khone ki himmat nhi hai mujh mein. I don't think I could survive if you go away from me. I don't want to lose you now"
A sob escaped her mouth.
Unable to take this, shravan hoisted her up and pulled her on the driving seat. On his lap facing him. He adjusted the seat for more space and hugged her tightly.
Wrapping her legs around his waist, she hide her face in the crook of his neck .
"Shhh, bus no more tears now.suno ab peheli baat toh aisa kuch hoga nhi aur agar kuch problem aayi bhi toh mein hu na sambhalne ke liye....itni mushkil se toh mili ho ,aise hi tumhe khud se door thodi na jaane dunga."
His one hand was caressing her back and other was in her hairs.
Moving her head away from his neck she looked at him.
"Promise?????"
"God promise aur tumhari promise"
And that settles the storm in her mind
Giving him a gentle smile, she hugged him again.
He rewarded her with a sweet kiss on her forehead.
"Vakeel acha hu mein. Mushkil cases ko kaise handle kiya jaata hai yeh aata hai mujhe. Aur phir yeah meri zindagi ka sabse important case hai, haarne ka toh sawaal hi nhi uthta"
"Kya bologe kuch socha hai?????"
"Hmm....Ghar jaate hi papa se baat karunga. Thoda naaraz hai woh tumse but meine pehele bhi baat ki hai unse humare baare mein.
(This came like a huge shock for sumo but she decide not to react on this right now)
"Unhe Hint bhi hai ki tumhare liye mein kya feel karta hu, but aaj openly baat karunga....samjhaunga unhe. Meri khushi ko mana toh bilkul nhi karenge woh"
(Suman knew this very well that shravan is capable of handling ramnath malhotra. Plus ramnath too loves shravan a lot. If he explain their relation to his father, there are chances that he would give his nod but it depends on how shravan well frame his words. And she do trust him. Plus wait is all she can do in this case. But what about her nanu????(
