Suddenly i was slammed to the ground, my hand automatically squeezed the pepper spray and it landed right on my attacker. "Ugh, aria what the hell?" I groaned in both pain and annoyance. I knew that voice anywhere. I rolled over on my side and push myself up on to my feet. I looked down at Jeff, Tommy's best friend, and sighed in annoyance. He was writhing on the concrete in pain, which caused me to burst out laughing. He's such an idiot, of course it would be him and his stupid self. I rolled my eyes at him and squatted down next to him.

I poked his shoulder, "hey are you ok?" He looked up at me anger shining in his bloodshot eyes, "does it look like im ok, you just freaking shot me with pepper spray!" His exclamation set me off again and this time i was full out laughing, i sighed and wiped the tears out of my eyes. "Why were you running after me in the first place." He gave me a sheepish look, i guess his eyes stopped burning. I waited a couple of minutes but he didn't say a word. Frustrated i huffed at him "well?"

He scratched the back of his head and push him self up into a standing position, "well cam didn't want you to be alone so they told me to bring you back, and i decided I'd much rather scare you first, so yea sorry." I rolled my eyes but accepted his apology anyway.

I continued to walk in the direction of my house, i only got a few feet before i felt a hand on my shoulder. "Hey, cam said to bring you back he doesnt want you to walk home." I turned around and just stared at him blankly, i then crossed my arms and rolled my eyes at him. Wow Cam is such a, ugh why couldn't he tell me that himself.

"Look Jeff you can go back if you want but I'm not going back with you, you can tell cameron that he can go to hell." I spun on my heel and continued to walk. I felt his presence next to me, he was walking along side me, "stop being such a spoiled brat, he said he was sorry." I jerked to a stop and turned to glare at him "I'm being a brat, wow you know whatever if I didn't see it with my own eyes then it didn't happen." he sighed in frustration and I huffed in anger "you know what do whatever you want I'm gonna go back to the car with or without you." "without." with that I spun back in the direction to my house and kept on walking I could hear Jeff's fading footsteps.

I ran my hands through my hair in frustration, why do I converse with such nimrods. As I walked on further I came across a bookstore that looked extremely familiar, the sign said Mimi's booktopia. I gasped in realization, this bookstore was only a couple blocks away from my house. Huh I guess I wasn't as far as I had thought, good for me I'll get home sooner. As I was passing bye the bookstore I tried to fight the urge to walk in, stop Aria you need to get home and try to explain to mom how you ended up in jail.

The reasonable side of me lost out and I walked in to the bookstore, a bell chimed as I opened the door. I heard a chirpy voice say "welcome to Mimi's booktopia, how can I help you." looked over at the elderly woman behind the register and replied "I'm just looking." the woman nodded and went back to whatever she was doing. I started to peruse the aisles filled to the brim with books of all kinds.

Where oh where can the fantasy section be I need something to get my mind off of today's debacle. As I continued to look I suddenly felt a presence behind me and I felt a hand rest on my shoulder. I screamed in terror and jerked around to see who it was, oh god it's the woman from the counter.

A bewildered look adorned her face, "oh dear I'm so very sorry love I didn't mean to startle you." I let out a flustered sigh and tried my best to smile at her "it's ok I'm sorry for screaming so loudly." she chulcked and flicked her wrist "it's alright dear I just wanted to say that I'm closing the shop for the night."

I frowned in disappointment "oh alright I understand." just as I was about to walk past her she stopped me "you look upset is something wrong." I debated about telling her about Cam or not but I went with the latter she didn't need to know my issues. "No I'm fine." "oh I see it's boy troubles isn't it." I didn't have time to respond, she grabbed my wrist and pulled me to a door that said employees only on it.

She pushed me to the direction of the chair and made her way to a coffee maker. "Sit down dear and tell me everything." I chuckled and shook my head it's a long story." she handed me a fresh cup of coffee and smiled I have time." I nodded in compliance, might as well "it started the first day I met Cameron."
