I wake up and get dressed, ugh why do uniforms exist? (I know why they exist)

I walk into school and go up to my BSFE, best Scottish friend ever. Corey.

"Hey!" I say hugging him. No i dont have a crush on him. Thank you.

"Hey how are you?" he says grabbing his book out his locker.

"Gooood how bout you? I say putting on a weird accent.

"Eh" he says shaking his hand.

"Wazz up?!" I say, what's wrong with me lol.

"Well me and Louisa have been a bit rocky" he says scratching the back of his neck, boys usually do this when there nervous or worried.

"Why?" I ask, louisa is Corey's girlfriend. Btw.

"Well I don't know" he says, scratching his neck, again.

The bell goes and i say bye to Corey, i walk to my class and sit down. And of course i sit next to Harvey.
Harvey comes through the doors and sits down, he looks over at me and smiles. I fake smile back.

10 minutes into the lesson, max decides to join us. How lovely.

Max walks in, sir gives him a detection for being late, blah,blah,blah. He smirks and Mia and she blushes hard core.
Why did she like him so much. I mean he's ok. I prefer Harvey. I think.

"Pstt" "ppstt" PSTTT" i hear in my left ear.

"What harvey?" I ask.

"Uh" "Nevermind" he says turning his gaze to the teacher.

Ok then.

(Detentions are on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's.)

The bell goes and its finally the end of the day.
I walk out the school gates and catch up to Mia.
My eyes fix to the boy standing next to her, well i should say flirting next to her.

I smile at her. Not max.

"Hey keely" she says.

"Hey" i say back.

We walk home in silence. This time its awkward silence.

Mia's house is before mine.

Now its just me and max. Um

"Keeley" max says

"Yeh?" I reply

"Do you think Mia likes me?" He asks.

"Well i-i um. It's only been 2 days so im not sure." I say.

"Ow" he says looking straight down at the ground.

"No i didn't mean it in that way" i say. I didn't come out right.

"What do you mean?" He asks.

"Well i guess its still early." I say

"Uh i guess" he says scratching his neck.

I could tell he was bummed.

"Do you like her?" I ask causing max to turn a bright red, he looks away and says

"I don't know"

I smile at him and we walk the rest of the way. I say bye and walk to my bedroom. Yes i live in there.

I hear a knock on the door. I walk downstairs and open.

"Ow hey Max" i say.

"Hey keely" he says. We stand there staring.

"Ow sorry wanna come in?" I say moving out the way.

He walks in and sits on the couch.

"Um can i ask you something?" Max says. Twiddling his thumbs.

"Um sure" i say
