Hi beautiful people,

Mo Dao Zu Shi, The Untamed doesn't belong to me but the plot of this story does.

Meihua: plum flower in Chinese.

Di Jun: the sun god, star lord of the solar palace.

Might have some spelling mistakes or typo. So I am apologising in advance. 🙇‍♀️

Warning: a little lime. 😉

Enjoy!

General Pov.

When he opens his eyes, he was blinded by a sharp light which forces him to shield his eyes. He blinks to chase away the remaining signs of sleep.

He has fallen asleep under a cherry tree displaying dancing petals of shifting colours. Sitting up, he looks around him with still sleepy eyes as several young women dressed in light pink robes are milling around a garden filled with different kind of flowers. At each of the hems of their robes, the design of a flower is sewn in and also on the collar of their robes.

The young man watches as a younger-looking boy is chased loudly by several girls. Not well-hidden in his arms are various fruits.

"Come back here, you thief!"

"Our god of flowers is too kind!"

"That god of fire! Always stealing peaches!"

The man giggles when the young god dodges a shoe aimed at his head. Said shoe turns into a pile of ashes prompting the girl to pout and to revile him which only serves to make the young god sticks his tongue in a teasing manner.

Laughing out loud the man makes his presence known to the small crowd. Among them, the god of fire grins when he sees him. Ignoring the infuriated girls, he runs towards the young man.

"Xian gege! I have peaches, do you want some?"

The aforementioned man stands up as the young god joins him under the cherry tree.

"A-Yang, did you steal them again?" He asks with a teasing smile.

"The god of flowers says I am always welcomed to help myself...not my fault if those heavenly fairies are completely clueless." He pauses to take a bite from a peach before he continues. "But don't worry, I, the merciful god of fire, am magnanimous."

"Sure..." The man drawls out catching from the corner of his eyes, a man walking towards with a serene smile.

Unlike the heavenly fairies, he is dressed in far elaborated and richer robes. His inner robes are the colour of the dandelion while the outer robes have a daffodil shade. His long black hair is free of any ornaments in which the wind plays into. A simple maroon belt is hugging his thin waist.

Over his clothes, every type of flowers is sewn into his clothes.

"Well, I guess we will have the confirmation by the god of flowers." He says showing with his chin the god.

With a grimace, the god of fire tries to hide the stolen fruits behind his back unsuccessfully. The god of flowers stops next to the heavenly fairies who are bowing in deference.

"Your grace!" They salute him respectfully.

"At ease, you can leave us alone."

"But Your Grace!" One of them protests with a pout. "Xue Yang keeps stealing your peaches! He thinks he can get away with his crimes because he is the god of fire!"

"Don't be angry, Meihua. I am the one who allowed A-Yang to take some peaches...sure he didn't need to take so much but I don't mind. The old peach tree is always full of ripped peaches."
