Hi beautiful people, I hope you are having a good time.
I didn't spellcheck, I plan to do it but I really want to update the story.
Happy reading!
Enjoy!
General Pov.
When he wakes up the sun wasn't risen up yet, he yawns as he stretched his body to chase the last remnants of sleep. Rubbing his eyes the teenage boy sits on the bed, glancing around the inn room.
The room is barely lit and the only light source streaming inside comes from a small candle that will die out soon. The boy can distinguish the girls sleeping soundly in their beds. He stands up then goes to the closest bed where a girl with long black wavy hair.
Like him, she is wearing a white robe as nightwear. Black tresses are escaping from her loose bread, giving her youthful appearance a more childish note. Her mouth is opened with drools gathering at the corner. The cover of the bed is only covering the left side of her body while the largest part is on the floor...and her right foot is hanging from the other side of the bed.
"...A-Feng..."
With a sigh and a fond smile, the teenage boy rearranges the covers over her body and he puts her wondering foot under it.
The girl grumbles in her sleep, scrunching up her cute button nose in displeasure only to turn in her sleep and buries herself under the covers.
The teenage boy sits next to her, he shakes her up gently but it only earns him a loud protesting groan from the sleeping girl.
"Xiuying...how long are you going to sleep?" He asks her with a playful smile.
"...noo...I want to sleep..." Xiuying protests groggily, moving away from the older boy who only shakes his head in amusement. "Go away, Yuan gege!" She shouts in last resort then she falls asleep promptly.
Chuckling, Yuan stands up and for a moment he is about to attempt to wake up Qingge but a small noise coming from the front door of their room, makes him go alert. Quickly, he goes to his bed where is lying next to it, a strange-looking wooden stick. The teenage boy grabs it then pulls on one end, revealing a sword.
Swiftly and silently, he moves then stops in front of the door, hiding his sword behind him. Yuan takes a deep inhalation to find out how many people are behind the door. He frowns slightly when he can't catch a whiff of a scent until two repeating knocks against the door, prompts the teenage boy to open it.
Standing behind the door is a young-looking teenage boy wearing a black pair of trousers and a black long sleeve tunic. His black hair is tied into a messy bun with a long strand of hair dangling from it and caressing the nape of his neck each time the wind catches in his hair.
"Mo Xuanyu?" Yuan whispers bewildered by the other sudden appearance then he pulls him inside, closing the door right behind them. Then facing him, he asks: "Where have you been? And why do you only come now?"
The longer he is talking, Yuan tightens his hold over the other boy's thin wrist making the latter winces painfully. Immediately, Yuan feels guilty and he lets go of Mo Xuanyu only stopping himself from reaching out to him in order to shake on him. But it doesn't quench his guilt when the other boy massages his wrist gingerly.
"A-Yu..." He starts.
"Sorry...I..I have to lose them." Mo Xuanyu stutters between ushered tone, he glances at his badly bruised wrist then at the teenage boy with a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, Young Master Shizui."
