First comes the scare
Halloween is in the air
Parents stock up on sweets
For kids that say "trick-or-treat"
The leaves are now changing
But it's just the beginning
All the creepy rubber spiders
Are quickly replaced with apple cider
Next comes the turkey
Everyone seems perky
All students are released
For the family feast
Just days after though
Everyone gets ready for snow
In search of a bargain
Mom's rush to the nearest target
Fall colors are no longer in style
But red and green fill the aisles
Pretty soon leaf pile jumping
Will be replaced with Christmas shopping
