Chapter 6 "Dan's Party" pt.2

I left Mason asleep in the room as I exited. I looked down and saw lots of bodies jumping up and down. I can't see Bry and the girls anymore.

I want to join the party downstairs. So I went down and started to dance. There's so many grinding bodies I'm telling you.  And like some try to kiss me. Then Bry pulled me. "Want to go the the garden?" He asked. I can't hear. So he repeated but I still can't understand so he pulled me out of the crowd.

"What's up?" I greeted.

"I just want to go to a quiet place."

"Yeah. Me too." Looking at the starry sky.

"Let's sit." He pointed at the rectangular wooden table at the right corner of the garden.

We were quiet for a moment as if he's in deep thought. So I decided to break the ice.

"Made out with anyone?" I asked.

He shook his head as response.

"Hey I saw yo- nevermind." I didn't want him to think I was spying on him or something.

He's still quiet. But I can see it in his eyes that he wants to tell me something.

"Bry whats-"

"Hey Kyle and friend" Luke called out.

"He is Bryan. And this is Luke" I introduced them.

"Yo Bryce, mind if I borrowed her for a while?" Luke asked Bryan.

I don't know if Bry is drunk or something but like I don't understand his silence.

"No. and umm Ky. Call me if you want to go home." He said with a small smile and walked away.

"Yo. I missed you." Luke said.

"Really?" I asked.

He held my waist and pulled me closer. "So much" then starts to kiss me. After a few seconds I pulled away. "I am not in the mood now Luke. " I looked up at him.

"I understand babe." He pecked me one more then asked "what do you want to do?"

"I actually just want to hang out here. "

"Shall we? I'll get the beers." Luke offered.

"Umm.. hey Luke nevermind. I might just go home it's already 4am anyway. I still have an orientation tomorrow morning"

"I understand. But hey umm.. welcome to the school. I'm really looking forward for more hang outs with you babe."

"Thanks Luke. Me too." As I took out  my phone to call Bry.

"Want me to pick you up for your orientation tomorrow?"

"No thanks. I don't want to bother you. Maybe next time." Satisfied with my answer he added one last question.

"Can I have your number though. So if there are any parties I can hit you up?" He asked.

"Sure." I gave it to him.

He gave me a kiss on the cheek as we parted inside the house. I was finding Bry and I saw him by the front door.

"Ready to go?" He asked.

"You don't want to stay?" I can just get a cab, you know? I just called you to get out of Luke's attention."

"Yeah. I also want to rest. Besides, we have an orientation tomorrow. I'll pick you up 7am?"

"That'll be great." I looked up to him smiling.

But his face it's really indecipherable.
