So it's been a couple weeks and I've done a complete 360, yes I still miss New York but I've warmed up to Atlanta a whole lot.

Me and Paris are extremely close now, we're literally together everyday. Even on the weekends she's always at my house. Like now

"So every year the last weekend of the summer we have a lit fest, different events and parties Friday through Sunday you wanna go?" Paris asked me

I was laying on my bed scrolling through Ig "yeah we can go, we can get dressed here and I'll ask Tamara can I use her car"

It's Tuesday and we're just chilling after school, she's spending the night and we're gonna ride to school together tomorrow

"Sound like a plan to me"

"Have you talked to shay?" I asked her

"Not really she's been to herself lately"

"Do you think something happened with Jay?" I asked

"Most likely, every time they get into it she distances herself until they get back cool"

I haven't told Paris about Jaylen flirting with me yet because I don't wanna possibly start drama, not saying she'll say anything I just wanna keep it to myself

Plus me and him haven't really talked since, I'll occasionally catch him staring at me but other then that we ignore each other

"Speaking of Jay is it ok if he brings my weed over here?" She asked me

"Girl you know I don't care"

"Bet cuz he's pulling up" she said sticking out her tongue

"Oh shit we bouta get litty"

Her phone started to ring, "ANT💗" popped up

"Oop yo man calling"

"Girl shut up and go get the weed" she said answering the phone

I slipped on my ugg slides and left out the room. I hope this doesn't end up awkward

I walked up to his car, he parked in my driveway and has his windows down

"Wassup pretty" he said

"Hey you got Paris stuff" I said

He looked at me biting his lips "yeah but you gotta get in first" she said

"Why?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Cuz I said so"

I huff and get in the car "what do you want Jaylen"

"Damn why you always so mean to me, I'm starting to think you like me" he said

"Yeahhh right, imma need you to stop thinking then"

"We would be cute together Jaylen and Tesla got a ring to it" he laughed

I just looked at him blankly "did you forget you have a girlfriend?" I said

"I'm single at the moment"

"Well shay is my friend , so this will never happen" I said pointing between me and him

"We'll see" he said cockily

"I guess we will" I said

"Here give this to Paris and y'all better smoke that shit responsibly this that gas baby" he laughed
