(Y/N POV)
I flopped on my bed and sighed. I had nothing to do and I was incredibly bored. I kept trying to come up with fun things to do, but all of them required people. Suddenly, my sister, (S/N), burst into my room.
"(Y/N), get up! We're going to the potato farm!" she squealed. I raised an eyebrow at her but sighed and got up. I threw on a pair of shoes and walked out to the car. My mom, dad, and sister got in as well and we began driving.
The car ride was so boring I nearly fell asleep. Just as I was about to fall asleep the car slowed to a stop. I groaned, brushing my (H/L) (H/C) hair out of my face. I got out of the car and started walking towards the farm reluctantly. It looked boring, but my sister dragged me along anyway.
We went on a short tour of the farm with two other families, including a girl my age who was pretty cute. Throughout the tour, I kept glancing over at her, before quickly averting my gaze.
At the end of the tour, we were each offered to take a free potato from a basket. My sister and a few others rushed to get to it first, but I waited for a second before going to grab one myself, to be polite. My hand touched someone else's as we each reached for the same potato. I looked over and blushed. My (E/C) eyes stared into beautiful chocolate brown ones. It was the girl from before! She chuckled and let go of the potato.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't realize-" I began rambling. She cut me off.
"It's fine. I'm Kiara," she said. I blushed a little more before replying.
"I'm (Y/N)." She smiled.
"That's a nice name," she said. I smiled.
"Thank You." We talked for a few more minutes, before exchanging phone numbers and leaving. My heart fluttered in my chest as I sat down in the car and stared out the window with a lovestruck smile. I guess this trip wasn't so boring after all...
