Elemental Vampires

The First Day

Ruby walked into the school with her brother Blythe by her side. The two were very close and both shared the element of fire as their power. Ruby and Blythe were very similar, but also very different. Ruby had medium length dark red hair, blue eyes, freckles and a light tent of blush on her face that would get darker if someone would cause her to blush. She often wore a black choker, a purple long sleeve shirt to hide her family mark, and some blue jeans. Ruby was more on the dangerous side of the fire element. She has a very short temper and could do some damage if she wanted to. She was naturally a quiet, smart, cocky, and determined young woman. With only being sixteen years old she often hung out with her brother since he was older than her. When not with her brother she often chills with her black spider Leo. Now Blythe on the other hand had long red hair, one green eye and one blue eye. He often wore a grey rolled up sleeve shirt telling everyone the mark was a tattoo his dad approved of, and he often threw on some ripped up jeans. Unlike his sister Ruby he was calm,friendly, flirty, he has a longer fuse, and he is extremely overprotective of his little sister. Blythe is eighteen years old. He is often the reason that his sister seems calm to other people. Ruby is lesbian and Blythe is straight which is also interesting for Blythe.

Once Ruby walked into the school her brother walked her to her locker before waiting on her to get her things. He could truly care less if he had his items since most teachers knew him and how he was. This was his senior year of highschool while it was her sophomore year in high school. Blythe showed her to her class before he began to walk off to his class and maybe find his buddies. As she walked in Ruby immediately saw a girl who caught her eye amongst the other people in the room already. A female with blue hair that was two different shades and dark blue eyes was talking to another boy over at the counter. Ruby couldn't help but feel her blush darken as she stared. Soon enough the girl caught on and waved hi at her. Soon class began to start. The girls started their day off in history with their teacher Mr.Fenton. He was a colored teacher with dark black hair that was slightly in his face. He seemed to have a mean expression on his face, but mostly he was just strict Ruby sat in the back not noticing that the girl she thought was beautiful was right beside her. .

Eventually when they were supposed to be looking over the papers parents needed to sign the girl tabbed Ruby's shoulder. Ruby slightly jumped causing the other girl to laugh as Ruby looked at her. "Uh hello?"

"HI" the other girl smiled "I'm Lee what's your name?" She asked

"Ruby. I like your name"

"Thank you" Lee said as she smiles "I like how red your hair is" she said leaning on the desk

Ruby couldn't help but smile and blush a tad more "Uh thanks"

"Girls it would be nice if you two could get back to doing what I asked" Mr.Fenton said with his voice seeming more loud and stern. As the two nodded and went back to doing their work. Later after the class had ended Lee waited on Ruby wanting to introduce her to her other friends. Lee introduced her to a boy named Flash Jarvis who had black hair, blue eyes, and a green sleeveless shirt on.Next she was introduced to a girl named Tabitha Wentworth who had light purple hair, blue eyes and a long sleeve blue shirt on. The last girl she was introduced to was named Saskia Pettigrew. She had dark blue hair, green eyes, and a off the shoulder purple shirt. Ruby and Lee were in the same class, but Flash and Tabitha were in science with Mr. Diaz. Saskia was in math with Mrs. Shanon. Seeing as they all got along they decided to head to their next class. Ruby had film with Mrs. Horn next with Saskia. Lee and Tabitha had gym with Mr. Campos and Flash was in cooking class with Mrs. Page.

As the day continued Ruby went through the rest of her classes meeting people and getting to know her teachers eventually she met up with her brother before lunch. She had told him all about who she had met and how beautiful the gir Lee was. Soon enough she got to the lunch room and went and sat with her new friends while Blythe went with his friends. Soon the day came to an end as the two of them met back up at the door. Ruby had been talking about her brother before mentioning he's straight and she isn't. "Well what are you then?" Lee asked

"Lesbian" Ruby replied blushing more

"So that's why you were staring at me in history class" Lee replied lightly shoving her with a smile

"Shit! You saw that?" Ruby asked as she became more red in the face. Lee had to admit it was pretty cute when Ruby got all flustered so she gave a small smile before seeing a boy walk over.

"I don't mind," Lee told her as she smiled. "I gotta go see ya tomorrow Ruby" She said as she walked off with a wave to Ruby.
