My head hurt. My legs hurt. My everything hurt.
"She got hit pretty hard, I must say." A voice echos through the...room?
"Shhh! You'll wake her up!" A more feminine voice speaks up.
"She's already awake." A third replies. "I can sense it."
"Creepy or naw?" I think to myself, my eyes fluttering open to a black room. A single light hanging from the ceiling behind three figures, only their silouettes in sight.
"Look what you've done." The female smacks one of the men over the head.
"Hello sweetie, how ya feeling?" She crouches down a little, causing me to sit up, lifting my hand to rub my head, finding the pain to have gone away.
"Weird..." I think to myself, my hand plopping back to my side.
"Hi, where am I?" I try to look around for more clues, but all there is is black, black, an oh, look, more black.
"You are now what we would call the courtroom. Dave." She looks at the man to her right, jabbing him with her elbow.
"Faith, we have found that you have died, and we want to help." 'Dave' speaks up, rubbing his ribs in pain.
"Died? No, it can't be. Ha-ha, just a dream. Or a joke." I think to myself.
"Ha-ha, this joke is halarious, truly. Can I go back home now?" I laugh nervously, the third guy is really scaring me.
"Sugar, I wish this was a joke. We have brought you here to give you a second chance at life, Faith. Or should I say, Rebecca." I can hear the smile in the woman's voice.
"Wha--" I'm cut off by a pounding in my head, causing me to crumple to the floor and black out again.
