I slipped over a rock and hit my knee on a root.
"Ouch! Damn why am I so clumsy today?" I wiped the blood from the gash and got to my feet.
Slinging my bag over my shoulder, I made my way down the winding forest trail and jogged into a clearing.
Then I heard a twig snap, and a grey wolf ran out of the woods and stopped, looking at me with intelligent grey eyes.
I froze, then started to back away when I heard a howl from somewhere in front of me.
The wolf looked away, and with that I turned and ran, and heard the padding of paws behind me as I ran.
Looking over my shoulder, I saw it running behind me, not even ten feet away, and the gap closed quickly.
I stopped and rolled to the side, and watched as it flew past me and tumbled, then I got to my feet when I felt pain lance up my leg.
I turned, and saw blood trickling down my thigh as agony racked my core.
Screaming, I pushed the wolf away and climbed to my feet, and slammed the wolf aside with my bag.
I blinked, and the wolf was gone like a dream, but the pain in my leg was real.
Stripping off my pants, I inspected my thigh and realized it was just a flesh wound.
Wiping the blood of with paper from my bag, I started walking back up the trail, as I didn't want to encounter another wolf.
In the distance I heard howling in the distance, making me increase my pace as I climbed back up the trail.
Then I felt a searing pain in my leg, like needles piercing my skin.
I stopped and fell to the ground with a suprised yelp.
"Is it infected? But isn't that to quick, how would it get infected this quick?" Then a heard a snapping sound, and a wave if agony tore through me.
Screaming out at the sky, I shivered as more snaps rang out and pain overloaded my mind.
When I woke, it was dark and the moon illuminated the forest, yet it was odd, my sight which should've rendered everything into darkness illuminated the shadows.
It's was like I had night vision, and I took a step forward, only to fall flat on my face.
Well, actually it wasn't my face, it was a muzzle, and I had paws...
'Holy shit, why am I a dog?' I rolled to my feet and walked forward, and after a few minutes I got the hang of walking.
'Why did this happen to me? Maybe the wolf that bit me was a werewolf? And I'm one now?' I turned when I heard a twig snap and saw a man with a gun pointed at me.
"Die you damn monsters, I'm gonna kill every last one of you!" Then he fired, and I leapt forward.
Distance seemed to distort and bend towards me as I landed and took of running, the wind blowing through my white fur.
I stopped and looked behind me, and realized he couldn't keep up.
I looked down and saw that a red line had drawn itself across my hind leg.
'Guess I didn't dodge the bullet.'
Dropping down to the ground, I panted as I watched the line grow smaller and then it disappeared.
Then my body started to emit cracks and groans, and soon I was back to being a human, albeit my skin was pale white, white hair cascaded down my back, and small delicate waist that looked like it'd break with a touch.
"Holy shit, why am I a female?" A sweet voice fell from my lips causing me to blank from shock.
'Fuck, being a werewolf is cool! But I want my little brother back!' Pushing myself to my feet, I started walking ignoring the wind blowing down below.
I started to jog, then broke out running, basking in the feeling of cutting through the wind.
Then I came to a stop, because a wolf stood in front of me, staring at me with intelligent eyes.
I bared my teeth, something telling me that it was dangerous.
Jumping forward, I shifted and turned into a wolf.
I leapt and collided against the wolf, and then we circled eachother, then I shot forward and started snapping at it.
Growls and barks filled the forest until it died down.
I lay beneath the grey wolf, head bowed as the grey one shook the dirt and wood from it's fur.
<Who are you?>
<How are you speaking in my head?>
<Answer the question!> It growled at me.
<I'm Venus, and who're you?> I shot back at it.
Then the snapping of bones filled the air and then a grey haired beauty, probably the most beautiful girl I'd met stood up in front of me.
"I'm the Alpha, and you're a worthless wolf, now go!" I bared my teeth in anger, yet I couldn't disobey, so I ran and ran.
