"The White Wolf is in front, I'm following her scent!" A boy, looking no older than seventeen appeared, his body a literal blur as he ran.
"Why did it cross our territory? It's known to go claw to claw with Alphas!" Another boy with his shirt off leapt and turned into a wolf and accelerated to the front.
...
I leapt over a rock and came to a stop, my foot swinging around and catching a wolf in the snout.
Hearing the whine of pain, I kicked it in the throat, then took of running.
'Damn, I just want to make it across the border, why are they hounding me so much?' Growling softly, I leapt ten feet into the air and grabbed on to a branch.
Holding out a hand, ice crystals formed on the branch and I snapped it off and landed, smashing the ice club across one of the boy's back.
"Damn, it's still humanoid, it didn't phase!" He growled, his eyes turning gold.
"Surround it and let the Alpha deal with her!" Another screamed as his hands turned into claws.
Then a blur appeared between both of them, and both went crashing into trees a few feet away.
"Thanks Rachel, but why are you following me?" I wiped the dirt from my face and looked at the redhead who had her fangs out.
"Well obviously because I love you!" Rachel skipped over and wrapped her hands around me.
"Yeah, yeah, if it wasn't because I saved you from this shifters that day, you wouldn't stick to me like glue!" I pushed her away long enough to see her ruby red eyes staring at my throat.
"No you cannot have any of my blood now, especially because the Alpha's here."
With a snapping sound, I saw a wolf the size of a small horse run out of the treeline and sniff at the air, before zeroing in on me and Rachel.
"Fuck, now I have to shift, good going Rachel." I wormed my way out of her embrace and shifted into my wolf form.
I had grown since three years ago, and was now a bit larger than a normal wolf, but still small compared to the Alphas.
<White Wolf, you aren't welcome here!> He growled at me, his lips curled back exposing his fangs.
<I was just passing through, it's your pack's fault that they chased me.> I responded with a snort.
<Well, simple, you are an elusive wolf that is one of a kind, pure white, no one has had such a pure coat since ancient times.> He barked and then lunged at me.
<It still doesn't change the fact that you're wanted by the other packs!> He bit at my throat, however he connected with my foreleg, even as I locked my jaws around his throat.
Biting until I drew blood, I pushed him away and let him bleed out, knowing it wasn't fatal, it would just cause a lot of pain.
Then I felt something land on top of me and I took of running.
"Ash, isn't it wonderful, fighting and drinking like no tomorrow?" Rachel clung to my fur as I shifted into high gear.
The surroundings blurred as I shot forward, leaving a trail of paws prints in my wake.
...
"Okay, first some ground rules, don't follow me again!" I shouted at Rachel, however she just pouted like I'd wronged her.
"You know why I don't like you following me, I've been hunted for three years now, and the amount of struggles I've found myself in isn't healthy for someone as young as you."
I patted her vividly red hair and gave an apologetic smile, and she sniffed my scent.
"So it's not that you don't like me, it's because you care for me?" Her eyes seemed to raidiate endless pink lights as she snuggled next to me on the log.
"Fuck, no, leave me alone, I didn't mean it!" I screamed as she wrapped me in a crushing hug.
