Chapter Four

Hayes POV

I woke up early this morning and noticed Aaron wasn't there.

I went downstairs and saw that all the boys were sitting at the table talking.

"Morning Hayes" Matt said smiling "did you have a good sleep?"

"Ya, thanks for asking" I said quietly.

"So we decided were going to go to the skate park today" Nash announced.

"Sure sounds cool" I said as I grabbed a piece of toast from Matt thanking him.

"Ok let's all meet there in twenty minutes" Cam said and him and Nash left.

I sighed and went upstairs to get ready for the day.

Twenty minutes later and all of us were at the skatepark doing tricks and filming vines.

I was sitting on a bench scrolling through my twitter feed and watching the rest of the guys.

Aaron walked up to me and sat down "I'm gonna go get some ice cream" he said and I just nodded my head.

I looked up and saw that he was leaving with a girl. She had long brown hair and a gorgeous tan. She was wearing super short shorts and a grey crop top with vans.

I knit my eyebrows together and watched them ride away on their skateboards.

I was super curious now as to who that girl was and what Aaron was doing with her. I mean we were dating so I don't know what he was doing with her.

I grabbed my skateboard and started after them. I caught up to them just as they were walking into the ice cream parlor.

I was just about to stop my skateboard and follow them when I ran head on into something. No not something, someone.

I looked to see who I had run into and saw it was a boy with brown hair and brown eyes. I looked closer as he stood up and held out his hand to help me up.

"Brent!" I yelled and grabbed his hand. He pulled me up and pulled me into a hug.

"I haven't seen you in forever" I exclaimed, It had been a long time since I'd seen Brent and I was so happy to see him.

I then pulled away when I remembered what I was here to do.

"One second" I said before I walked into the parlor.

I couldn't believe it. There was Aaron with that girl sitting on his lap and they were making out. My heart felt like it had just shattered into a million pieces.

I walked up to Aaron grabbing some kids ice cream on the way. I walked straight up to him and smashed the ice cream over his head. I knew it was childish but it felt good.

"H-Hayes I can exp-" I cut him off before he could finish.

"No, Aaron, don't even bother" I said and walked away.

I walked back out the door not before giving the kid I stole ice cream from five bucks.

I was met by Brent "that was awesome" he said.

"Ya it felt pretty good" I grumbled.

"Wanna head to my hotel?" Brent smiled.

"Ya sure" I grabbed my skateboard and we walked to his hotel.

We didn't talk the whole time and when we got there he finally said something.

"So you wanna tell me what happened back there?"

Brent's POV

"So you wanna tell me what happened back there?" I asked Hayes. Of course I knew already but maybe talking about it will make him feel better.

"Well Aaron and I were dating, apparently he forgot though" he mumbled "I don't understand, he said he loved me"

He burst into tears and I grabbed him and set him in my lap.

"Look at me" I said softly, putting my finger under his chin and tilting his head so he was looking at me "it's ok I'm here for you"

"I-I...I just thought..." He trailed off.

"You thought he loved you but then he went and did that" Hayes nodded and sniffled a bit.

I held him close to me and he looked up at me.

"Thanks so much for everything, Brent" he smiled softly.

"No problem" I whispered.

I leaned in slowly and so did he. Our lips met and I began to move slowly. Hayes kissed back slow but then started to kiss more hungrily.

He leaned against me and we fell back on my bed with him straddling my waist. We continued kissing until Hayes' phone started ringing. We both pulled away out of breath.

Hayes quickly got off of me and grabbed his phone.

"Hello?"

There was a long pause.

"I'll be right there" he hung up and shoved the phone in his pocket.

He looked up at me "Matt just got stabbed"
