Chapter 2: The New Girls

 

Mitch’s POV:

Me and the guys were bored out of our minds so we decided to go get some starbucks.

We were chilling and chatting when these three SMOKIN (as in hot) girls came in. I don’t think they were from around here just by the way they acted.

The girl on the left had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes, and was wearing a black dress with yellow lace and black shoes.

The girl on the right was a bit smaller than the other two and she had brown hair, brown eyes, blue glasses and was wearing a purple shirt with black outlines, black leggings and purple and black shoes. She was wearing all black and purple but she didn’t give off that kind of goth/emo mood. She seemed very spunky and out there.

The middle girl, who i believe to be their leader, had brown wavy hair, deep brown eyes… they kind of remind me of Jerome’s hmmm… and she was wearing a red headband, a white t-shirt with a red windbreaker, jeans and red shoes with a blue and purple flower necklace.

When I first saw them I thought Oh great they are probably some snotty preppy girls but then I started noticing little things about them that changed my mind.

Like the blonde had a yellow necklace on but then I realized it was a pixelized gold ingot necklace. The little one had her phone out and on her case… it was a minecraft case and not just any minecraft case… a team crafted minecraft case!

first I didn’t see anything on the middle girl but then i realized on her headband it had brown fuzzy cat ears. Her windbreaker wasn’t just red and was red and black checker patterned like my minecraft skin and when she passed our table I noticed her earrings were tiny silverized minecraft blocks.

These girls had to be gamers, and not just gamers, team crafted fangirl gamers. I look over at the guys and i see them staring at them too. Then i realise that everyone was looking at them. I wonder where they came from…

 

Elyssa’s POV (I changed pov’s in the middle for the first time!)

As we walk into starbucks I notice that everyone was staring at us. Wow I guess they don’t see many Rhode Islanders around here.

Lots of guys were staring and lots of girls were giving us dirty looks. As we walk towards the counter i notice a group of 10 boys sitting at a table and they seem kinda familiar. Oh well I think I just need some caffeine in my body.

"I’m guessing you guys want the usual too” I say to the girls.

“yea” they both say.

“Ok ill go get them you guys get a table” I say as they go sit down. I head over to the counter “ Hi can I get one caramel mocha with whipped cream, a cookie dough latte and a chocolate cappuccino please” i ask the girl at the counter.

“Sure that will be 15.53 please” she says and i hand her the money. “ Can i get some names for when the order is done” she asks me. She sounded kinda familiar… wait could it be?

“Kira?!” I say bewildered.

“Wait… Elyssa?!” she says just as surprised.

“Omg its been forever I missed you” I say super happy. You see Kira Morris was my best friend before i moved. I thought i was never gonna see her again.

“Well my shift will be over in a bit if you wanna hang out?” she says.

“Sure you can meet my friends too” I say excited.
