-Seungcheol-

"Flight KE017 to Los Angeles will be delayed due to air traffic, we will update the schedule once we clarify the exact time of departure"

I hate delayed flights.

"Oh man, we're so unlucky" Jisooo commented, checking his passport

"Anyway, let's eat something, I'm starving" I pulled his sweater sleeve.

"You're not scared? Of those 'monsters' killing Chois?" he asked me, stopping in front of a coffee shop.

"Nah, it doesn't bother me at all" I'm fucking scared.

It's not that I'm scared to die, I'm scared of seeing vampires killed brutally because of me. It scares me because being the last person who can turn people into vampire, gives me power and at the same time, the whole race depends on me. We can't multiply again if I die. "Penny for your thoughts?" Jisoo placed the cup of coffee in front of me. "I don't want to disappoint my parents" I told him and he smiled, sipping his iced coffee.

"Jeonghan misses me so much these days, he's just so cute" Jisoo showed me his Kakao talk with Jeonghan complaining about med school.

"Anyway, do you still hate Doyoon? Were you attached again?"

"Shut up Hong Jisoo"

"Oh come on, the last time I heard bullshit from you was when you broke up with Soyee"

"Can we not talk about that"

Yeah, he was absolutely right. Soyee was like Doyoon, she was source of food, well, I did liked her because her blood was really my type. It was the time of Korean war when I met her, I was one of the soldiers who battled out, vampires don't kill each other because of political reasons, we avoid the commi vamps as much as possible, same way as they did. I was injured and had to be brought to a hospital by force, since vampires has an ability to self-heal, it only took me two hours to heal from a bullet straight to my abdomen. Soyee was a nurse, a pretty nurse and was working on our room.

"Choi, let me check your wound-" she approached me, I covered the wounded area, she'll find out I'm a vampire

"I'm fine, tend the other soldiers" I whispered, covering my eyes to not look at her.

"It's okay, don't be scared, you're here to be healed"

"I said I'm fine"

She pressed her hand on the back of mine, pulling my hand away. I heard her stainless tray dropped on the floor, probably filled with clean water. I thought it was my last day on earth. "I-it's okay, I didn't see anything" she whispered, pressing the wet cloth on the "wounded" spot and pretending to clean it. I murmured a thank you, for saving me. That night, she helped me escape the hospital since the others may know the miraculous healing of mine, I promised to find her after war and I did.

We dated, she offered her blood just so I can get through, that time, a small group of vampire hunters are aware of our existence and they plan on killing the whole race, even hurting Hansol's foster parents after knowing that Hansol was a vampire, so I had to take Hansol back to me and group up as much as we can.

"Let's break up, I don't love you anymore"

That was the last time I saw her.

"Our flight schedule is updated, departure will be in one hour, let's go" Jisoo took one last sip of coffee.

The flight was long so I was scheming on how to counter-attack, should we use decoy? Should we hide? It wasn't a vacation for me, it was for me to hide. And I know I can't hide forever because Chois are at risk. Hansol is at risk as well. When we arrived in LAX, it was evening so we went straight to our villa, Jisoo was tired and decided to nap, while I checked on the kids and the situation in Korea.
