The restaurant has beautiful soft music, the food that came on the table was exactly what was displayed on the menu plus even more decorated. The restaurant is well known in New York. It only catered to a certain group of high-level customers that wanted to dine quietly without their meals being interrupted. Every table has been surrounded by potted plants that shield the view of other customers so that you are not able to see the next table's customer. This is to give privacy to their prestigious customers. The rules are strict or your names will be a strikeout off this restaurant. Of course, there is no worry for the owner of this restaurant because the customers are overflowing that you need to book a month ahead. Xiao Zhan knows this restaurant very well because he purchased this restaurant last month, for the simple reason that he does not like to do the booking.

Xiao Zhan 26 now, is a billionaire. He has inherited his family business at the young age of 21 years old. He is the only son in the Xiao Empire family. His father is the direct descendent of Xiao Enterprise, the family empire has been continually expanding throughout its 50 years history. The Xiao Enterprise owns almost everything, hotels, media, restaurant, manufacturing and one would say that everything that makes money, the Xiao's has a share in it. Xiao's father is an excellent businessman, very diligent, and committed to expanding the family business. When Xiao Zhan was 14 years old, he is already attending the board meetings and meeting business associates under the guidance of his father. He does not hate his life but he also craves independence and personal interest, At the tender age of 17 years old, he was allowed to attend his university in England. The 3 years were his best time in life because he had so much freedom although he knew that his father still send bodyguards to keep him safe but they remain invisible to Xiao Zhan.

Xiao Zhan takes after his father in the business ways of handling the Xiao Empire. One would say that he is even more sharp and fast in his business decisions. Thus, under him, the business continues to expand rapidly even though he is now only 26 years old. Xiao Zhan has another side of his life that not many people know, He also acquires a taste for art, he loves photography and painting. This is mainly due to his mother who was a former actress before marrying his rich father. His mother understands Xiao Zhan and encourages him to pursue his passion together with his business achievements in the Xiao Enterprise. His good looks are of course come from his mother who was a beautiful actress. Both parents passed away a few years due to a car accident.

Sitting quietly at the corner of the restaurant trying hard to enjoy or rather swallow his tasty meals with his laptop on the table. Xiao Zhan looks at the sight outside of the window aimlessly. 'It is getting cold, I wonder how is he doing?" There was light rain, which to him represents his heart that seems like crying and hurting. TO him, even the sky understands how he is feeling as they are also crying for he misses someone so badly His mind now only thinks of a certain person that would bring his panting and aching at the same time. The question often comes into his head "Did I make the right decision, if so, why am I constantly having heartaches when I think about this person". It seems unbearable to think and his tears start to flow down his cheek down to his mouth that he could taste the salty tears. He wipe them away gently and decided to switch his mind off and concentrate on his meal. Every piece of delicious meat that was precisely cut by him and brought to his thin mouth seems tasteless as the overwhelming pain and sadness in his heart just overtook the taste of food. He found that for the past 2 years, he is eating to survive, not to enjoy. He stares at the food constantly till it becomes blurry because his tears overtook him without him even consciously aware of it.

He finishes, he waves at his two security men and told them to take his car to his penthouse as he wanted a walk. Of course, this would cause a lot of disapproval stare but Xiao Zhan always has his way by just giving them a glare. "No one knows who I am here. Look I just pull up my collar and in this weather, no one is even looking at anyone. All are head down, trying to get back to their warm in their home, I am fine, Cheng" Both men would only nod, knowing that there is no point arguing with their boss as they could never win.
