13 : Where She Belongs

From the corner of his eyes, he noticed that she had been fidgeting while on their way towards her home. She keep on twisting her body, trying to adjust for more comfort and even biting her nails our of nervousness. He cannot help but to find her quite adorable. She is always confident in his eyes, but the Joy that he see right now is totally opposite. She looks like just a mere child in his eyes, making him having the urge to always protect her.

" Hey, are you okay ? "

She turns to look at him in the eyes and cannot help but to smile unsurely at him.

" I don't think so. What if- what if they hate me ? What if they push me away ? "

He hold onto her shoulder, peering for her face that was covered with her palms.

" It's going to be alright. They love you. They're dying to see you again. "

" I know so. " He gave an assuring smile hoping for it go lessen her nerves.

" Sungjae, can I ask some favour then ? "

" Can you be by my side then ? I don't think I can face them alone. And I think you can be my strength. "

She hold onto his hand, feeling calmer with his fingers entangling with hers oblivious with the fact that the one next to her are in tense with her sudden bold action.

Not that they never held hand, but now since this Yook Sungjae had realised that he is indeed falling in love with this Park Sooyoung, he cannot help but to feel slightly embarrassed and flutter at the same time.

He can actually feel back the things that he had once lost. The feeling of loving someone.

Joy was being over-reacting as the car drive in towards the entrance of her house.
