Where is the respect?
Everything is either violent or sexualized
I would be ashamed to have kids in this lifetime
History does repeat itself from generations but who is going to break the mold
It hurts to see why people kill for personal gain
Our women have to be half naked to get attention
Our men have to be a thug to get attention
Where is the realism?
I laugh because I question
what about the dudes and the females who
got their stuff together or at least trying to get their self together
where is their attention?
I rather be low-key
Where nobody knows my name except ALLAH
Where I'll be greeted with: As Salaam Alaikum
Where my heart is judged
When life is so much simpler for the ones fighting for their families
When the real ones get noticed
And where the fakery is exposed
