The world is a harsh place for every one but when you're a small girl in the slums of New York's Chinatown its even worse. My grandparents came from Shanghai with my mom and moved here to New York to try and get out of my grandfathers gang but, when my mom was in her twenty's she met my dad an American business man and they had me Jamie Li. My dad and my grandfather ended up getting into gang actives and putting our family in danger again and when I was 10 the tea shop was shot up and my grandfather was killed by his rival gang the roses. Then my mom was mugged and killed by the same gang four years after and that was when my dad fled the city and I haven't seen him since i'm now almost eighteen and ready to get my revenge. The mundane life of working at the tea shop with my grandmother just doesn't settle right with me I'm going to reform my grandfathers old gang with the new generation and wipe out the roses.
