chapter 2

"What happened?"

They look towards the source of the voice and saw him... Akira.

His beautiful sky blue hair and shining emerald eyes ame. But somehow for a second there, they saw the Demi-demon version of Akira.

They don't know what to feel. Angry? Maybe. But they also doubt it. He was their friend. He helps them a lot. He was always there for them.

But it would be a lie if they didn't angry. Why do you ask? Because he is the person who almost kills the girl they love.

They sometimes ask, why? Why would he hate her? She didn't do anything to him. Yet, he hurt her.

Thinking this makes them furious. Makoto, the stone face also has the same fury.

Akira also feels that they're angry but don't know why. So he decided to ask.

"Did something happen?"

They look at him angrily which caused him to shiver a little but it didn't stop him.

"Yes. Something did happen" Ken said. His voice is deeper and scarier.

"Then what is it? Maybe I can help you?" Akira offer. He is not the type to only sit and see his friends like this.

"No. And maybe, starting this day, you shouldn't hang out with us"

Akira was beyond shock at that time. He looks at all of them, hoping that this is only a joke. But they all look serious.

"Y-you're joking, right? Come on guys, it's not funny"

Akira is hurting inside but still forces a smile. He still has a slight hope that it's a lie. But his hope easily got shattered.

"No, we're not. Now get out of our sight"

Makoto says it seriously and coldly. Akira held his head low and his hair covered his eyes. He didn't want them to see him in such a weak state.

So he mumble something that they could hear and left.

After hearing what Akira say, they feel guilty. They look at each other for a while.

"I feel bad"

Hikaru says. It can't be helped though. The "dream" they have felt real and they feel that if they still become friends with Akira, he will become a demi-demon, again.

'This is for his sake' they all thought to themselves. But still... the words that Akira said still sting echoed in their head.

"Okay, take care and...I hope all of you are happy."

But unknown to them. It was just the beginning of chaos.

Without them realizing it, a few weeks already passed since that day and Suzie had already attendededed this school. Everyone will see them stick together. Akira also start avoiding them and try not to be noticed by them but they noticed it.

They feel slight guilt about what they did. I repeat, slightly guilty. Even though, they just ignore it.

But still, sometimes they will unconsciously think about Akira. How he will smile at them, how his eyes will sparkle whenever they show him their magic, and how energetic and kind he is.

And when they thought of this, they will shake their heads and mumble to themselves "he deserves it".

Also, Suzie seems different. Not physically though but in her personality. Sometimes they noticed how she will glare at some girls that eyeing them. She becomes more arrogant but not too obvious. And whenever they saw Akira, she will look at him with some intention in her eyes but they just ignore it.
