A year had passed since the death of the youngest Wayne child and everyone was affected by this whether they wished to admit it or not. The boy was barely thirteen when he'd met his demise. He'd gone far too soon and Richard Grayson had been taking it the hardest, today would be his fourteenth birthday... He'd went and purchased a cupcake from the bakery, having a lit candle on top as tears began to stream down his cheeks.

A lump caught in his throat as he croaked out, voice broken and raw from pure despair.

"Happy birthday... Little D. I miss you."

With that the candlelight from the birthday candle flickered out. Almost like as if Damian had blown it out for him.

His one wish: for it to have been to die instead of Damian.
