"Please, don't go.. Don't leave me like this!" He shouted loud and clear to her as she walks away, leaving him alone in the shadows. Stopping her tracks, she gathers herself before giving him last few words,
"I'm done with you! After what you did to me! I'll never forgive you!" She looked him in the eyes, tears starts streaming down her face, wetting her soft cheeks. She finally turns around coldly, leaving him alone.
He's now on his knees, bleeding from his fresh wounded wrist, his head's swollen as he bangs it to the floor. His tears now running down like waterfalls, the pain feeling wash over him in a flash. The feeling of losing something so valuable, someone that's impossible to replace. Maybe she felt enough, or perhaps too much too handle. But as for him, he just lost someone he loved. Even if she defined their relationship as toxic, though for him, she was everything he had.
He slams his head again and again on the floor, banging it like it's ice that's about to shatter into pieces. Unfortunately, its just causing meaningless pain to him. Everything bleeds now, his surroundings changed to a movement, a flash of future from seconds, to minutes then hours, days and years. Moving around him. He's still on his knees while a sudden vision of his friends changed to someone better, someone worse. People come and go from his sides, holding his shoulders. Trying to carry him up.
He tries to get up slowly while around him changed day by day. Seeing friends hugging him, saying things like,
"It's okay!"
"Everything will be alright,"
"You're better than this,"
Strengthening his legs to get up, the visions and movements started slowing down, changing from months to weeks. He's still trying to get up, his wounds starting to recover as he wipes the tears from his cheeks. Looking straight in front of him, he sees the girl that he lost and loved most is walking with someone else, holding that man tightly, afraid of loosing him.
Tears are coming out from him again. Woman may come and go from his life, but he ignores it. He still lives up with a smile, although now the girl he loved is already on a bigger stage than him. Wearing one of the elegant wedding dress as she strikes a genuine smile, enjoying her time with the groom as they walk down the aisle. This time, he smiled. He got up feeling stronger than before, wiping the happiness tears from his eyes and starts running forward as fast as he could. From the age of 20's to around the age of 30's, he's getting older, bigger, successful than before. His visions stated him to be someone that no one expected him to be; rich and powerful. But after all that, he only lacks of happiness.
He stands along with wealth and success; all the things they couldn't imagine him to achieve. But he did, he's currently in a mansion, along with a perfect wife and a perfect family, he stretched out a smile.
Though the visions suddenly stopped. He turned to his 20th again, looking straight into her eyes, witnessing her crying. He was utterly shocked, he thought that she was finally happy. But in reality, her husband abused her, it was all worse than what she could imagine.
His eyes were looking down to his shaky hands, not believing in whatever happened. But when he look up to see her being left behind by that man with blood running down to her skin; it's very obvious he left her with nothing but sadness. He looks at her with a wicked smile.
He finally got his revenge. His revenge is .. his happiness.
