AppleDash: Stuck (EG) (Finished)

Chapter 1

It had been only two weeks since Vignette Valencia's attack on the girls at Equestria Land. However Rainbow Dash and Applejack felt like they needed a day off, however in the middle of walking to Rainbow's place- both girls decided to head to Camp Everfree and check out the forest, especially the path that Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle went on. After a few minutes of circling around the camp, the athlete got an idea for a race.

"Hey! Race around the camp?"

"Haha! Oh it's on- wait a tick! You'll not be needin' yer necklace. I don't want no cheatin'!"

Rainbow Dash chuckled and then pointed to her friend's necklace, "if I loose my powers then you give up yours pal!"

Applejack chuckled. "Okay. Deal."

Both girls then took off their necklaces and without looking Rainbow Dash tossed them to the side. Both girls then got into a running stance.

"3.. 2.. 1.. GO!" Rainbow yelled, running off. Applejack then began to run equally as fast as her, however she stayed farther back for two reasons.

One- she wanted Rainbow Dash to win considering her mood after losing and secondly, just to see that fine backside of hers. Especially her butt. However decided not to let her win she ran faster and was now next to Rainbow Dash. She then looked next to her at the athlete next to her, her best friend was focusing on the dirt road ahead and was barely breaking a sweat- considering the miles they walked to get here. However she didn't complain- Rainbow Dash was after-all an athlete. Throughout the race however, there was nobody that they ran past, well besides some occasional animals. They were very far out into the woods, it was very unlikely they'll bump into anybody, even though Camp Everfree was popular during this time of year. However at the end of the race, they had to reach to the dock they build for the camp, they always liked to go there to the dock to get away from their friends and spend quality time together, they barely had it anyway. This was no better feeling, no better company and the better place to be.

However Rainbow Dash glanced over at Applejack, catching the farm girl staring at her. However after they made eye contact, Applejack quickly shook her head and looked forward, once again focusing on the race.

"What was that about AJ?" Asked Rainbow Dash, eyebrow arched.

"Jus' thinkin' Dash." Applejack replied, keeping her eyes forward.

"About me?" Rainbow Dash said in a joking matter and chuckling, acting smug, running along next to her again.

"Well I mean, your name came up." "In what way?"

"Well..." Applejack paused, but continued, "who else here can enjoy a time like this other then you an me?"

At this, Rainbow Dash couldn't help but laugh, she looked forward again.

"Haha! The other girls would be extremely exhausted by now, well maybe except for Pinkie Pie. And man can she outrun me.. that worries me."

However Applejack didn't reply to her friend, she just smiled and chuckled a bit. However Rainbow Dash was soon getting the impression that Applejack isn't telling the whole truth.
