Seungmin pov:

I was split between screaming and hugging him or crying just standing there. I chose to do the latter since the first option sounded a bit too much. Not that the second option was any better though.

"Oh my god, Seungmin hyung, why are you crying?" He chuckled a bit and hugged me as he tried to soothe my cries down.

"Jeongin . . ." I croaked hoarsely. "I thought- I thought you quit."

"No, I didn't. Why would I? I said I wouldn't give up. And there's not a need to cry." Jeongin broke off the hug and began wiping the tears off my face.

"I . . . " That warm smile and soothing words only made me cry more. Sue me. I was emotional. I thought Jeongin quit and that he actually gave up on me when I was starting to think him as my friend.

"So Kim Seungmin hyung actually did miss me? Aww," he cooed as he rubbed my back.

"Stop putting it like that," I mumbled. My words were a bit slurred from my crying. "But yeah, I do miss you so stop making me admit that again and again, you little fucker."

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry," he said, chuckling. "Does that mean that we're friends?"

"Do you still need to ask that? Yes." I separated myself from him and began wiping my tears and tried to stop crying.

"Does that mean I can come into your room?" He asked with his eyes twinkling.

"Why are you so obsessed with that idea? But yeah, you can come in."

"Great! Thanks, hyung." He walked into the room with a smile.

I frowned at his enthusiasm. "Hey, Jeongin?"

"Hmm?"

"Why are you so obsessed with the idea of coming into my room?" I asked.

"True answer?"

"Yeah?"

"Because you're so obsessed with me not coming into your room, hyung. Besides, isn't it more comfortable when you get somewhere to sit while talking?" He plopped down on the bed.

"Sure, it is." I sat down next to him. "Tell me about the book in your hands?"

His eyes glinted with happiness and a tinge of mischievousness. "It's something you will never expect. It has a big, big twist in the end."

"Okay, no more spoilers. Give me that book," I demanded.

Jeongin pouted. "You said tell me about the book and I am just giving you a minimal explanation."

"Yes, I need no more than that. If you said more, it will spoil everything. And it would be seriously no fun to read the book." I took the book gently from his hands.

"But I was not even done yet!" He whined.

"I am." I laid down on the bed, opening the book.

"Hyung!" He whined.

"No," I said firmly.

"Okay, fine," I gave up. "Tell me."

"I have nothing." He smiled cheekily and I kicked him sideways.

"Hyung, don't torture me!" Jeongin screeched teasingly.

"I am not torturing you, Jeongin-" I patted the place beside me. "-And lie down."

"Sure." He laid down beside me. "But your hair, hyung, it's too long. I am practically sleeping on it."

"Eurgh, fine. It's just so uncomfortable to lie with my hair tied." He moved a bit and I removed my hair a bit for him to lie down.
