I had barely awoken when I heard my house elf calling my name to wake me up.
"Miss Y/n! Miss Y/n, your father has requested Darla to wake you up." Darla said while tapping my shoulder lightly to get my attention.
"Good morning Darla! I'll be right down. While I freshen up, may you make a batch of tea?"
"Of course, Miss Y/n!"
Once Darla scurried out the room, I sat up and yawned while stretching. I hurriedly retrieved a outfit to wear out of my walk in closet. A lilac colored sweater and a black skirt with knee high socks.
I wonder why dad wanted to wake me up, usually I'll get myself up and meet mom and dad downstairs.
After taking a well needed shower I ran downstairs the marble staircase infused with gold railing.
"Good Morning!" I yelled while I jumped into my father's arms.
"There you are Princess!!! How's my little girl doing?"
"Well I just woke up!" I said proudly while smiling really big. My father chuckled while setting me down on the couch surrounding the fireplace.
"I have some very special news for you, Y/n!" My father said while handing me a letter.
I opened it and started smiling even bigger. I was going to Hogwarts!
Darla had just come in with the tea, and I assumed she knew the news already.
"Congratulations Miss Y/n! Here's the tea you requested." Darla said before continuing what she was doing elsewhere.
"Does this mean we're going to Diagon Alley today?" I asked my father after taking a sip of the tea. I heard a lot about it in the stories mom told me.
"Of course, then you'll be ready for your first year at Hogwarts." Father said while making his own cup of tea.

We used Floo powder to get to Diagon Allen and I was bouncing with excitement. I overheard a conversation saying that Harry Potter is going to be here too!
"Let's see, do you want a owl or a cat or a toad?" My father asked and I immediately knew what I wanted.
"I want a cat! Ooh, can she be fluffy?!" I asked practically radiating light at this point.
"Of course, Princess."
We walked everywhere and got everything I needed, well, almost everything, I still needed a cauldron. We walked into The Leaky Cauldron and saw a large family.
"Hello Mrs.Weasley! It's been a while hasn't it?" Father said while shaking Mrs.Weasley's hand.
I saw a boy about my age standing around Mrs.Weasley, I assumed it was her son since they shared the same ginger hair color. I walked up to him.
"Hiii! I'm Kaede, wait that isn't right, I'm Y/n L/n, nice to meet you!"
He seemed to giggle at your introduction and then held his hand out to shake.
"Bloody hell, meeting Potter now meeting a L/n! I'm Ron, Ron Weasley!"
I shook his hand then turned to my dad. I grabbed Ron's hand and dragged him over to my father.
"Hey! Hey look! I made a friend!" I yelled while pushing Ron in front of me so father could see.
He smiled and Mrs.Weasley walked up to me.
"I see you've met my son. It's an honor that you would be friends with him, Miss L/n."
I blushed with embarrassment. I'm not that much of a good person, am I?
"I-, uh, no problem?"
I heard Ron laugh again, but more noticeable.
"As much as I would like to stay and catch up, Y/n and I have to get back home." Father said.
"See you at school Ron!" I yelled as we walked away, hoping for a reply.
"See you at school!" Ron yelled back.
I smiled widely, a warm feeling was in my chest. Am I sick?! Help?!

3rd person p.o.v
"-And then I started smiling widely and there was a warm feeling in my chest!" Y/n yelled to her mother, hoping that she wasn't actually sick.
"You're not sick, in fact, you might have a crush." Mrs.L/n replied, laughing slightly.
"Me?! Having a crush?! But we just met! I haven't got time to have a crush yet!" Y/n rambles to her mother.
"Well, have you heard of love at first sight? In fact, I remember when I first saw your father, something attracted me to him. I just knew I wanted to be his when I saw that smile."
"Euggh, mom, I get it. I don't think I like Ron though." Y/n said.
"Well, if you end up liking him, I won't stop you from having my grandchildren." Your mother added with a wink.
It took you a while to get it.
"MOOOOOOOMMM!"

Well, was this a good first chapter?! Idk what I'm actually doing lol. The plot of this book isn't exactly the same as the actual movies and books, so don't expect exact dialogue or scenes.
