"Freak." The kids call me as I walk through my school hallway. I just shrug it off, im used to it by now. At least it was the last period of the day but it didnt really matter, the torment is the same at home. It will soon all be over, hopefully...
I walked past all of the "pretty" people avoiding as much eye contact as possible. Continusely trying to jump over legs that try to trip me. Succesfully I manage to get passed all of the assholes. As I reached the stairwell to get to the lower level of the school I felt two hands touch my back. Before I got a chance to move away the pair of hands pushed me down the stairs. As I fell all of my books flew everywhere. I ignored that, I was more focused on the pain in my body. When my fall was coming to an end I closed my eyes hoping this would be the end. Not just the end of the pain in the fall, I mean the torment, all of it. I just layed on the floor until the pain subsided blocking out all of the laughs that came from my so called "peers". Im a good person I swear its just no one gives me a chance, they just judge on physical appearance rather then pesonality. So I like to wear black and listen to punk rock does that make me a bad person? Im just misunderstood. All of the accepted people wear pink, white and blue, while listening to pop.
As the late bell rang I heard a chorus of thundering footsteps stampede to their class. I just layed on the floor, eyes closed wishing for this never ending nightmare to cease. I could just go home, I mean its last period. Why do I even bother with school? Nobody in their right mind would hire me. I really wanted to be a teacher but that wont happen. I gave up on that dream a long time ago. After ten or so minutes I slowly picked myself up and gathered my books. I slowly walked down the hallway using the wall as support. I kept chanting to myself over and over again in my head 'get to your locker, grab your backpack and leave'.
