Chapter 1: First Day

New Dorm

I walked in the door of my new dorm and found Kylee, my BEST friend from High School. "AAHHHH" she yelled when I walked in. She dropped what she had in her hand and ran over and hugged me so tight, I thought I was going to burst. I dropped my duffel bag on the bed that was closest to me. She was wearing denim shorts and a pink Hollister shirt. Her hair was blonde and wavy. She looked better than she did the last time I saw her.

"How was your Summer?"she asked me, excitedly.

"Great , Me and Luke went to Kings Dominion for the Fourth of July",I mentioned.

Luke is my boyfriend, we met at a sweet frog two years ago. We started talking when my friend Rebecca introduced me to him. He had brown, windswept hair, and blue eyes. He asked for my number and we have been dating ever since then.

"Cool," she said enthusiastically. It was quiet in the room for a second.

"What about you?" I asked trying to break the silence. "Great, I met this guy named Hunter. We've been dating for a couple of weeks."

"Awesome, does he go to this school."

"Yeah. He's a freshman too." I grabbed my phone from my bag and told Kylee I was going to call my mom to tell her I was here. I went in the bathroom to call her. When she picked up we talked for a little bit and she hung up.

When I walked back in the room Kylee was texting someone.

"You wanna go to the campus lounge," she asked as she put down the phone.

"Yeah, I have to give Luke his headphones back though." I told her.

"Thats fine, I'll go with you " she said. When we were going to Lukes dorm we saw these students with headbands on, I think they were playing some game. Me and Kylee were making fun of them and laughing the whole way to the dorm.

When we finally got to his dorm we went up the stairs and turned the corner to get to room B11, the door was already open a little bit, I knocked then opened the door. When I opened the door he was on top of another girl making out with her. He turned around and looked at me "Belle" he said as I ran out of the room trying my best to hold my tears.I heard Kylee yell "Jerk!" and run out the door.
I was crawled up on the floor, I couldnt hold the tears any longer. I bursted out crying. Kylee sat next to me on the floor and started hugging me. Luke came out of the room, he ran his fingers through his hair "I'm sorry Belle," Kylee looked up at him "you should go away. you've already hurt her enough." she grabbed my arm and pulled me up.

Then she walked me out of the dorm. "He probably would of never told me if I hadn't walked in his room at that moment," I said with old tears still on my face. "I know, but on the bright side-" "there is no bright side of this." I said before she finished her sentence. We didn't say another word the whole way to the lounge.

By the time we had gotten to the lounge I had dried my face up and put a new layer of mascara on. You could barely tell that I had been crying. Before we walked in I stopped and looked at Kylee
"I'm sorry I snapped, I was just really upset. I'm gonna try my best to put all of this behind me." she looked at me and grinned "See this is the strong Belle I have always known," she locked elbows with me and we went inside.
