CHAPTER 2

Walking from the food court back to Spencer's so that Jasmine could buy the Stitch beanie she seen before they went for food.

Madison: I don't even know why y'all even go to the mall. All you guys do is go to the same stores every single time. Why don't y'all just do online shopping or something they have the same shit if not more and we don't have to leave the house.

Jasmine: Well for me it an escape from my stupid ass stepdad, he's always on my dick about everything. I'd run away if I had the money to like for real.

Ariel: Swear he's so worried about everyone but himself. He needs to take his ass somewhere.

Jasmine: Nah he needs to take a long walk off a short bridge. Better yet make it an overpass so he hits the ground and not the water we don't need him coming back. I miss my old life, before him.

Ariel: Bitch what do you miss elementary school mom got with him we were like 10, idiot.

Jasmine: Who you calling an idiot. You can't tell me you didn't like it better before he came along no matter how young we were.

Ariel: I mean you got a point but still we were way younger besides we're almost 18.

Jasmine: Yeah I can basically taste the freedom.

Jasmine pays for the beanie and they leave the mall. They get to the bus station and wait for the buses Madison lives on a different route then them since she just recently got her own place. The buses come and they part ways. the twins are almost all the way home when Ariel gets a text from steve that reads "Where the hell are y'all and who told you y'all it was okay to leave the house without doing your chores you 2 are grounded" she shows jasmine.

Jasmine: What the fuck is he talking about we did everything we were supposed to and then some like this is ridiculous. That man is truly retarded. I'm not being grounded for that like what.

Ariel: What are you gonna do we have to listen mom works the next 3 days live in. If you don't do the punishment he'll just ground you longer.

Jasmine: I don't know what I'm going to do but I'm not being grounded for shit that I know I cleaned. We cleaned before we even went to the mall and we told him we were leaving he's just slow.

Ariel: I know but still there's not much you can do.

Jasmine pulls out her phone and starts texting Madison tells her everything and asks if there was any way she could help.

When the girls are walking to their house jasmine gets a text for madison "have ALL your shit packed and be ready in 2 hours" she's confused but does it anyway. Not having much Jasmine finished packing quickly. all her stuff fit in two medium-sized suitcases besides the tv she and Ariel shared, she decided to leave that for her.

Approximately 45 minutes after she finished packing she heard the door dell and ran to get it before Steve could, knowing it was her best friend.
