A mechanic was doing something in the lift soha saw that and went towards him....
Soha- hey what are you doing??
Mechanic - madam there is some problem in the lift ,so please don't use this lift please use that lift which is near the basement....
Soha- did you inform everyone about it??
Mechanic - no madam I was about to put this poster here....
Soha- okay you may go I'll inform everyone
Mechanic - thank you madam I'll be back till evening ....

Soha asked watchman about nandini's arrival he informed her that she reached just now....
Soha smiles wickedly and hide behind the pillar ,as always nandini was confused and busy in checking her files she pressed the lift button and enter inside it ,soha smiles and leaves from there....
Soha fail to notice manik who was coming from the opposite direction towards the lift ,before the gate of the lift could close he enter inside the lift ......
Nandini wished him good morning and he just nodded he asked some details to her about some upcoming project ,
Suddenly the light of the lift started blinking ,the lift stops with a thud sound making both of then lost their balance .....
Manik- what the hell......
Nandini - ye ...what's happening....???
Manik- I guess there is some problem in this lift wait let me call the security...
He take out the phone from his pocket to call the guard but there was no signal inside the lift he became frustrated .....
Manik- what the hell is this how careless they are ??
I will throw all of them out from this job.....
He didn't notice nandini who was sitting in the corner holding her knees crying badly ,manik saw her shivering figure and sat on his knees
Manik- hey what happen??
Nandini - I...I am...scared...darkness...
This...
Manik- hey hey relax don't worry look you are not here alone....
Nandini - ye dark..ne..ss..
Manik switch on the flashlight of his phone due to which darkness disappear.....
Manik- is it okay now??
She nodded but still she was shivering ....
Manik tried to pat her shoulders but he takes his hand back ....
Manik- ahem miss moorthy don't worry on not finding us there they will come here to rescue us and may be signal of my phone comes before that so I will inform them,BTW where is your phone you also check that there is any signal or not...
Manik was successful in distracting her ,one hour passed away still nobody came there ,soha inform everyone about the lift and forbade them to go there...
Abhi ,arohi and arjun were worried for nandini they tried to call her but her phone was unreachable they thought that she might taken a holiday so they resume their work and thought to talk to her in the evening...
Soha was eagerly waiting for manik but when he didn't came she thought that he went out for a meeting ,
Here inside the lift with the passing time nandini was losing her patience ,she was getting worried...
Nandini - sir...nobody came here now what will we do???
Manik- don't worry miss moorthy I will figure out something...
You just relax and take a long breath...
Nandini started feeling dizzy because of low blood sugar so she take out a chocolate from her bag and unwrap it she offer first bite to manik,he was about to deny but he took the first bite of it and make her eat the second bite of that....
She wished him happy chocolate day ,on which he raised his eyebrows and asked her what did she said??
She shrug off her shoulders and said nothing ,like this 2 hours passed away ,some sweat bud form on her forehead which shows that she is getting panic...
Manik sat in the corner of the lift and open his arms for her she moves towards him and hide her face in his chest ,he told her to close her eyes and suggested her take long breath
Manik- nandini relax just close your eyes and think about some happy moments of you life you will feel better ...
She tried but it was too much for her she was feeling scared.....
She hugs him more tightly and he protectively takes her in his embrace....
He patted her head and tried his best to console her ,
After sometime she drifted of to sleep ,on getting no other option he also closed his eyes to relax for a while....
After 6 hours when mechanic repaired the lift all were shocked to see manik and nandini together in that state ..
Manik was holding her protectively in his arms ,her face was hidden in his chest there was a peace on their faces....
