Once upon an ordinary time, two people met. Pass by each other, and then forget they ever met. It was like a film that keeps on playing continuously. The next following days, another ordinary time repeat the event. These two people, who probably didn’t even look at each other’s face, never ponder that Fate gets tired of them. Until...

She stood from the bench and started to walk towards home. She was inside the campus of her University.

He walked after her. Seeing the empty bench where she just left, he sat and rest. There he saw a black handkerchief lying on the ground.

“I could have dropped it.” he said as he picked it.

“Oh, it’s mine.” She said as she went back on the bench.

Their eyes are fixed to each other as if it was the first time they’ve met.

“It’s...mine.” he replied.

“Ah...alright.” She left slightly dismayed and told herself it was just a piece of cloth. Not worth fighting for.

He watched her leave. Slid his hand to his pocket, and felt another cloth inside it. He pulled it out and saw another black handkerchief.

“Oh...” he uttered. “She’s right.”
