Kirishima's POV

Bakugou and I have only known each other for about a year at this point. But from day one, I was able to notice something about him. Hell, any idiot could notice it if they took a good look at him.

Bakugou is touch-starved.

Yes, I'm fully aware of how he behaves. He pushes people away. He doesn't want to be touched.

But that's just it. He does. He wants to be hugged and embraced. He wants to be told that everything will be okay.

But he's associated that with being weak. He assumes that being given a hug is a sign of weakness.

That's why he pushed me away when I went to hug him as he cried on the floor.

But giving up isn't very manly, so I proceeded to attempt to hold him.

Eventually, he gave in, allowing me to wrap my arms around him.

He tried his best to stop the tears that fell from his eyes, but that only caused him to cry harder.

He didn't want to be a villain. He doesn't want to be this.

"Bakugou...it's okay to be human. You're allowed to have feelings."

His breathing hitched as I proceeded to hug him.

Slowly, his tears began to stop. Once they did, he pushed me off of him.

"Not a word of this to anyone. Ever. Understand", he said, wiping his eyes.

I nodded quickly.

We sat for a moment in complete silence, both of us avoiding eye contact.

But then I broke the silence.

"Bakugou, you don't have to be this. You don't have to be a villain."

Bakugou sighed. "I can't be anything else. There's nothing for me in your world Kirishima."

I rapidly shook my head.

"Bakugou, that's not true! You're one of the best and manliest heroes I know!"

His eyes began to water again.

"If I'm a hero, why did the villains kidnap me? Out of everyone on UA, why'd it have to be me? I'm bad. I'm evil, Kirishima. I don't deserve to be hero."

"Bakugou listen to me, you have flaws. So does every human being on the planet. Just because you get angry easily does not mean your a villain. I know you. I know that you want to help people. You want to be good Bakugou. That's what makes you a hero. The villains just missed that because they only looked on the outside of you. But anyone who bothers to get to know you knows that, you will be one hell of a hero one day."

Bakugou started crying again. I have to say, this is the most vulnerable I've ever see him. I'm not complaining, it's just surprising.

I opened my arms, implying a hug.

He looked at me through tears and shook his head.

"Hugs are for the w-weak", he stuttered.

I grasped him and pulled him into my chest. He was surprised and didn't have time to react. I took advantage of the position and kissed his forehead.

"I guess we're both weak then."
