Fears of Nightmare

Chapter 1- Intro

A/N: This is my first book so I'm sorry if it sucks. This is just a little introductory type thing. Okay I know you don't like these things so on with the story

_Kat's point of view_

My name is Katherine and I'm on the run. Seriously I'm running here. Why you ask? Well I was working on my latest masterpiece and someone saw me. Yeah, graffiti. I normally wouldn't care but I'm already late for dinner. Almost there. My brother Adam and sister Marlene get really worried and angry if I'm not home by 9. And right now it's 8:59. They think I can't take care of myself, but boy are they wrong. I lost the cops at the edge of the forest. Yeah everyone in town are wolves and I am the Alpha's little sister, but if he finds out about this I'm screwed. Thanks to my superspeed I made it home in time.

Through the door at exactly 9:00. "Where were you?" Asks my brother Jacob. "Probably out with her boyfriend. Oh wait she doesn't have one." My brother Blake says as he passes by. I ignore him and his lame "joke" and go into the dining room. Most of the pack is already down here by now. Sorry I forgot to mention I'm a werewolf. "Katherine where were you!? You were supposed to help with dinner!" Marlene scolded. Crap! I completely forgot!! "Uh... I was..." I started but was cutoff by my best friend Nicole, "She was with me Marlene." My sister seemed satisfied and I gave Nicole a thankful nod. A voice popped up in my head. Nicole.
So where were you really?
My latest masterpiece of course.
Well next time maybe come up with an excuse before you leave.
Yeah thanks for saving me.

"That damn bandit got away again!" My brother Adam yelled from the end of the table. "Adam calm down." My sister soothed. "When I get my hands on him I'm gonna-" I cut him off. "Him? How do you know it's a he? It could be a girl!" Suddenly my brothers were laughing. My sisters and I glared at them. They suddenly stopped laughing. Bitches. "Whatever" I mumbled so no one heard me. I didn't talk the rest of dinner. Once I finished I went straight to my room. I was too tired and didn't bother with a shower. As I kicked off my shoes I collapsed on my bed. I fell asleep dreading tomorrow for it was the last day of summer vacation.

I woke up to the sound of the alarm going off. I hit snooze and reluctantly got up. I went to the bathroom in my room. Since I'm an Alpha child I get a pretty big bed, bedroom, TV, bathroom, closet, etc. The bathroom has a long mirror and two sinks on the left side of the door. To the left of that is the toilet, across from the sinks is a giant bathtub. Then to the right of the door is a big shower with glass doors. Good thing no one comes in here except my friends. Nicole (Nic), Jessica (Jess), and Emily (Em). Being in the Alpha family makes me "popular" but really people just know who I am. I'm not popular but I do have more than just those friends. Since I'm the "weakest" of the Alpha children, I do get bullied. Only by the real populars, my brother Blake, his two sisters (triplets) and his gang. I finished and got out of the shower then went to brush my teeth. I walked out into my room and then into my giant walk in closet. I flipped the switch on my left and the room lit up. I went to the part that had tank tops and put on my purple one. I walked to the end which had the left and right walls covered in shelves with bottoms. Well a third of each wall. The wall at the end has drawers full of underwear, bras, and socks. I grab my matching laced black bra and underwear. I dressed in a purple tank top and vans (shoes are on the other one third of the walls). I also wore my black skinny jeans. I looked myself over in the mirror (wall to the left of the door) after straightening my black and blue hair. I walked out of my room and three doors down the main hall. Alpha bedrooms. I went down about five flights of stairs. I got to the main floor and was about to walk out the door when I heard my name. "Yes?" I asked sweetly. "Pack meeting." Hell. No. "But-" I was cut off by Adam. "Now." I stormed over to him and followed to the conference room. We walked in and everyone bowed their heads in respect. Well except my parents, siblings, and the Alpha of the Midnight pack. Wait what!?
What's he doing here!? My wolf Nightmare asked. I don't know but we're about to find out.

I took a seat between Lisa and my mom. "As you all know the Midnight pack was attacked by rouges last night." Adabegan. I didn't know. Why wasn't I informed? "Many of their buildings were burnt down including their schools and homes." That's so sad. Where will they live? Can I go now? "We have offered to help and so they shall be living and going to school with us here." WHAT!?
