As all light fades,
Dims and grows weak,
I am blamed,
For colours turning meek.
There is nothing around,
Nothing to be seen,
Nothing at all,
Nothing but me.
I rose on high,
And resisted the pull,
I will not yet leave,
As tonight I shine full.
Now do not dismiss me,
I'm not simply a stone.
I once had the feeling,
That I was alone.
I have not the people,
That go out in the day.
But I have all the stars,
And they've something to say
We see you, watching us from below
Adoring every light, as they begin to show
One by one, they shine down for you
Now we ask of one thing, we'd like you to do
Find joy in the day,
In all its warm rays,
As it will not stay,
We will not be held at bay.
When we bring forth the night,
And arrive at full height,
We want to gift you, with a beautiful sight
We'll display our graceful flight,
And shoot across the sky.
Trailing behind,
Are small faint lines,
Watch as we fly,
Take in all our might,
Breathe in the cool air,
And bathe in my pale light.

PoetryDon't think about the title too much. I definitely didn't. These are some poems I didn't think fit in the other collection.
