Dixie's POV

Charli and I had just gotten off our flight when we were greeted with big hugs and signs from a couple of fans. As Charli stopped to take a few photos, I spotted Chase sitting on a bench watching her. His face was all scrunched up and he was wearing the chains Charli had gotten him for his birthday. He looked mad sitting there, lonely at the least. I felt my sister tap me on the shoulder, "Hey, ready to go?" She asked and gleefully ran over to greet Chase, who's face seemed to light up when he made eye contact. I had been to the "Hype House" five or so times before, but I mostly just liked spending my time hanging out with Addi instead of the whole gang.
Addison Rae. The absolute most beautiful best friend anyone could ever ask for. I wouldn't trade her for the world. She was unlike anyone I had ever met. She gave me butterflies whenever she smiled at me or said my name. She made my heart skip beats when she spoke. She was loyal and smart and funny and always put in thought before doing anything.

Lost in my thoughts, I heard Charli say my name three times before I responded. "Dixie! Dude are you okay?" Charli asked, shoving me into the backseat of Bryant's car. "Huh? Oh yeah, I'm fine. Why?"

"You looked lost. More than usual, at least."

"Oh, sorry, just thinking."

"Thinking 'bout what, weirdo" Chase laughed.

"Thinking bout your mom bitch." Bryce pushed Chase around in the front of the car.

Bryce was Addison boyfriend. On and off, boyfriend would be a more accurate description of the two of them. He was 23,  pretty muscular and one hell of an annoying dick. Chase and him had become pretty close after the last couple of months, and as far as I knew, him and Addison weren't dating at the moment. Which was good for me. Not in that sense, I mean like, Addi and I never hang out when they're together.

We pulled into the drive way about 40 minutes later, and I could see Addison running up to the car from where I was sitting. We all jumped out and I ran into Addi with the biggest hug. "Ahh Hi!! I missed you so so so much Dix!" She said, squeezing me tighter.

"I know Ads! Me too!" I pulled back so our eyes could meet. Everything seemed to stop for a moment, like it was just the two of us standing there. Alone.

"Well now, don't get too comfy holding on like that, haha!" I heard Bryce say and watched as he pulled her out of my arms and into his. And as he kissed her, my heart dropped.

"Bryce, come on" Addison said, looking really annoyed, "Not now." Pushing him off of her, she grabbed my hand and dragged me inside, telling me everything that had happened while I was back at home. I was so lost in her smile, I don't remember much of anything that she told me.
"And so that's why I had to move rooms. All because I can't hold on to a bed frame when a paintball gun is launched into the hands Tyler." She finished and looked at me with what seemed like heart eyes. "So..." she continued, sitting down on her bed and pulling me next to her, "what's up with you and that one kid I saw on your story?" She winked at me.

"Who? Oh Griffin? We're just friends. We dated for a bit, but I ended it."

"How come?"

"I don't know... I lost feelings I guess."

"Oh... When was that?"

"Actually, when I met you, I think."

We sat in a bit of silence. Finally she asked, "Wait didn't you go to prom with him?"

"Oh yeah, he asked me as friends because neither of us had anyone to go with. We're still friends, sorta."

"Oh haha, you know I would have gone with you."
