"Back Again" Jotaro x Reader

It wasn't a normal night in Duwang, Morioh. The usual bright and saturated joy of the daytime that loomed over the small town was now unapparent. Instead, dull blues and greys filled the sky, mixing together in soft swirls of clouds. 

A faint breeze whipped across your face, lashing your hair against it in its wake. You couldn't remember the last time you had felt so under the weather. Married...with a child. How long had it been since you saw him? Years must have passed by, your heart growing cold at even the mention of his name…

 Ten years ago you fought with him and your other unrivalled friends against the tyranny of DIO, his cynical words and charming flare  laying stakes against you, your fate being chosen by an attack from The World. Though your stand could handle the brunt force of the attack, the wounds you suffered caused major setbacks in going home. Yet you had nothing to go home to...your late mother and father were especially not waiting for you…

Though you tried your best to keep thoughts like that from creeping back into your mind, you couldn't help but think of the last moment the two of you shared...a tender kiss...his arms were wrapped tightly around you, as he whispered promises of never letting you go. My, How things have changed. But what you didn't expect was the event that was soon to follow at daybreak. And nothing could prepare you for your rude awakening.

You wandered down the streets of the now lively Duwang town, people chatting and laughing. You had spotted a familiar pompadour in the distance, chasing towards it. It was a little odd for a 27 year-old woman to be hanging around highschoolers, but you would take any friend you could get. Before the name Josuke left your lips, another ‘J’ name spilled out in surprise. “Jotaro....”

He was wearing a different attire, his figure still hulking you in size, his muscles looked as if they were about to burst out of the black turtleneck he wore under a new white coat, a matching white hat shadowing over his cobalt blue and seagreen eyes. Calling his name seemed to get his attention, as he turned from his conversation with Josuke to you, bewilderment crossing his features.

“Oh, hey Ms.Y/N! How are you today? I didn't know you knew jotaro!” Josuke smiled with a wave, a bit of blood was smudged across his face. Did he get into a fight? Your eyes drifted towards the ground. Apparently, you had no clue about how to feel, your emotions switching from many different forms of anger, happiness, and the inevitable dread of seeing a taken man...not the boy you had been in love with ten years prior.

For the following hours you were taken on a small walk with Jotaro and Josuke as they began to explain to you everything that was happening.

“So...you're here to find the remaining stand arrow, and the reason why I was initially drawn to Josuke is because he's a stand user like us? And Joseph had an affair?” Though Jotaro was explaining everything to you, you still had a hard time comprehending all of it. Another stand arrow? More of DIO’s servants? But he was dead! More time passes until well into the afternoon. Earlier the three of you had migrated to sit at a park bench, speaking and catching up with each other...but you couldn't brush off the feeling that jotaro kept staring at you..

Josuke let out a long yawn, his arms outstretched above his head. “Whelp! I think it's about time I head home. You two don't have too much fun without me!” as Joskue left, you mentally whined in your head, wishing you could leave with him..it would be so awkward alone with Jotaro...and you didn't want to face the truth that you would never be able to touch him the way you used to.
