New Mate
Astrid's POV:
D = Dax
D: Good Morning, sweetheart
A: Good morning.
I mumbled
D: We have school today you know.
I sat up from the bed quick as lightning and bumped my head on his head.
A: Oops, sorry.
Dax smiled.
D: It's ok. Anything for my little mate.
L: Uh, huhuhu, um, I should get ready for school?
My statement came out more like a question than a sentence.
D: Yeah you should.
He said turning away.
A: Uh,what??
I stepped into the bathroom and showered. After I came out, I dried my hair and put in soft waves. I rubbed some Vanilla Tinted lipbalm on my lips.
I decided I was going gray today.
A: A gray shirt, white jeans, and a teal watch would be ok.
I grabbed the backpack that the Queen had prepared for me and checked the mirror again to see if I looked ok.
Two tall, pretty girls came into the room. One had lilac highlights, while the other had baby blue highlights.
U1: Hello! You must be Astrid, I am Beatrice!
Said the girl with baby blue highlights
U2: And I am Brooke.
A: Hi!!! Finally! Some girls to talk to! I thought this castle only had boring men!
B1: I know right, sometimes it does feel like that!
B2: I have a feeling we are gonna be besties!
Beatrice is the daughter of the beta, while Brooke is the daughter of the best warrior in the land. They were both born on the same day, so they are kinda like twins. They were inseparable from young too! My wolf informed me.
A: Ahh, nice.
A: Shall we get going, girls?
B1 & B2: Yes ma'am!
