RAINBOWKIT POV

"Rainbowkit and Rainkit step forward!" Lionstar orders, sunlight bouncing off his golden fur. He is our leader and I am quite scared of him but I know he will protect our clan until his dying breath because he is known for his loyalty so I'm actually not that scared.

Rainkit bounces forward and I follow.

"Rainkit, from now on you are Rainpaw. Your mentor is Gingerfur," Lionstar says and Gingerfur, a ginger furred she-cat steps forward. My brother steps toward her.

"Rainbowkit!"

I step forward. I am so excited!

"Your mentor will be..."

I hope it will be someone cool. Maybe Jayblaze or Shimmergaze will be my mentor!

"Shimmergaze!"

Yes!

The black she cat steps forward. She is the fastest cat and best hunter in our clan. I get her as my mentor!!! All her apprentices become great. Jayblaze was her apprentice and he's very respected! Lionstar also trained with her when they were warriors and he's now the leader! Shimmergaze will be the next deputy if Blackfang dies.

I'm scared of Blackfang the deputy but I shake away my worry and step forward to join Shimmergaze.

"Rainbowkit! Rainkit!" the clan cheers. I lift my head proud.
