Josh's POV
I think this time I screwed up our date. Jennifer is never rude or acts irritated for someone unless she really feels that way. She's normally cute, and funny and polite. Did she think I was flirting with that girl? Jennifer isn't much of the jealous type. But was I giving her the wrong hints and making it look like I really was flirtingwith that waitress?

I sighed as I walked down the streets. She must have taken a cab home because she stormed out before I could realize that she was running away, but she couldn't have ran that far away from me. What if... What if she was kidnapped?

Goodness gracious Josh, you see what you get yourself into? Call her before it's too late!

I quickly got my phone out dialing in her phone number as quickly as I could. I called a couple of times receiving the same answer the whole time; the sound of her voicemail. Not her real self. I felt my forehead start to sweat and my heart start to pound rapidly. I dialed in her phone number one more time.

"Please answer me, Jennifer. I just want to know if you're okay. Please, please, please just tell me you're safe." I begged. I heard my heart break into tiny pieces as I hear the call go straight to voicemail once more.

I decided to text her but after a couple of miutes, she still did not answer. I felt a little more relaxed now that I saw that my messages were marked as read, but I still wanted to make sure she was okay and apologize in person so I decided to head into the nearest Walgreens and purchase some roses and chocolates for my beautiful Jennifer.

I smiled and handed the cashier the money not forgetting to thank them. I walked all the way back to the restaurant were Jennifer and I were earlier to find my car.

As soon as I got to Jennifer's house, I found myself smiling more than I ever have. I grabbed the roses and chocolates from the passanger seat and locked the car, walking over to the entrance.

Crap! I frogot she had a gate!

I attempted to open the gate but I noticed that there was a lock blocking the entrance. I sighed.

Now what do I do? If I text her, she won't reply, nor will she answer if I call her. But if I ring the doorbell, she probably won't answer. What do I do?

Finally I thought of something. I carefully passed the roses and the chocolates through a space in the gate and got myself ready for the hardest part. I was going to sneak in. I felt my body slightly move backwards as I climbed the gate, but I  refused to fall.

Finally when I was able to safely jump to the other side where Jennifer's house was, I grabbed the things I got for her. My heart started pounding and I knocked at her door. I just hoped that she'd open the door this time.
